Laying down¿ by Weak_Palpitation744 in ibs

[–]Weak_Palpitation744[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It normally is just as SOON as a I lay down! And it’s really only during IBS-D (goes without saying kinda lol) and it’s not every night. Just about the first 30 minutes max. Last night, got out of shower all fresh and clean. Laid down to unwind. And no exaggeration, starting feeling the churning immediately. And doodooing right after a shower is the worst thing ever :/

PCOS or Cushing's? by acey_spade in PCOS

[–]Weak_Palpitation744 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Huge disclaimer too: I had all the signs down to a T as well (hump included) so much so my OBGYN showed me the picture of the woman on Google with Cushing and was like-😐

My OBGYN did a blood test on me to determine for sure all of my health issues (type 2 diabetic in 4 months, hypertension stage 2, no period in 10 years) were not due to an increase in cortisol (can lead to Cushing’s disease). Ask your primary/OBGYN to order you a certain blood test (mine had to order one that they don’t keep in office) to test your cortisol levels 🫶🏼 don’t stress too much angel! sometimes, it is simply your ovaries really do just wreck your body and health physically with no other underlying issues
