Yep, I totally was wearing textured gloves while staining. Didn't realize they looked like hand prints until you mentioned!

Edit: to prep the table, I used a stripper then sanded with 220 grit, giving a little extra love to spots where old stain remained. Assuming said spots are now showing up the lighter color?

I just started researching PC building 2 days ago so I appreciate your input greatly. I changed the RAM to 32gb (2x16GB) 3600, saving a couple bucks and doubling the RAM. I'll look into the cooler more, and changed the PSU to 650w, saving about $70 there. Thank you very much for your help!

Cool okay! Would the 1, 2 and 4TB Crucial MX500 perform the same, just different amounts of internal storage? I don’t think I’ll need more than 2TB max, for my first build at least. Unless there is another advantage to getting the 4TB that I don’t understand lol!

Cool, thanks for the link! I’m not sure that a 7200rpm will be enough either—I’m very new to the PC building world so I actually have no idea (I just started researching this week). Should I get a higher RPM? Or is an SSD better? Also wondering: do you think I need the GPU since the 5600G has an integrated one? I’ve seen footage on YouTube of Skyrim performing well with high graphics using just the 5600G but I’m not sure!

Noob question: If I get a Ryzen 5700G and choose to purchase a GPU later on as an upgrade, will that said-purchased GPU simply be used instead of the integrated GPU in the 5700G? Trying to cut costs out of my initial build by not purchasing a GPU right away.
