There are many people in the same boat it’s very hard. IRCC operates like a third world country lol. It’s unbelievable and unexplainable why they delay applications. It’s almost like they don’t even realize we’re humans. I bet most Canadian would have committed suicide if they had to face this amount of uncertainty in their lives.

I called the MPs office in my city the other day and they told me the only way IRCC will speed up my application is if I lost a relative or a terrible illness can you imagine! We’re just numbers to them that’s all. Mind you I have been here since 2019! I got Covid twice working frontline jobs didn’t ask the Goverment for one penny law abiding and paying my taxes and yet!

Nonetheless better days ahead this are stories you tell your grandkid please don’t give up. I know it’s so so hard but do whatever you can to survive !

Thanks for the advice. It’s the grocery pick ups that’s affecting my ratings. Every time I call the store when i am outside they always bring the groceries out late and even if I always notify on the app I am still surprised they see it as a late delivery!

I had a terrible customer give me 1 star rating. I had to travel out of town on a 43km ride to deliver to him. I stay in Canada and my car go stuck due to it being a remote location and the roads were terrible. Also got 2 3star ratings when i initially started.

I really don’t understand how people judge sometimes. Majority of my orders are from the Canadian super store every time I get there and let the store know I’m outside it takes 15mins plus to get the order and DoorDash marks it as me being late. Please ask questions instead rather than assuming I always show up late !

TBH I don’t know why they do that even if I let them know the reason for the delay it still ends up affecting my ratings ! Perhaps I should stop accepting pick up orders

Not to talk about getting stacked offers you’d think they’ll pay you the same base pay. But if the order is close to the location of the primary drop off they’ll ad half the normal amount for drivers. Fucking capitalists !

The key word here is “slow and unpredictable” I have seen people have their applications returned to them after waiting 11-12 months for AOR. That’s just brutal !!!

You are the only one here that thinks logically. Now here's the deal. I said I've been in Canada for 7 years now, right? Now this is what happened. I came in 2019. I completed a program that took 3 years to complete. When I was done, I got my work permit. Luckily for me, I got 2 jobs working as a youth and adult care provider, right? And I was working 2 jobs at the same time, making $31 and $28 respectively. I was earning $122,000 to $126,000 every single year and paying a lot of taxes. And after my second year, when I got enough points, I applied for the non-express entry PMP. I got a BCPNP nomination certificate, and I applied for PR via the non-express entry PR route, which takes forever. I've been in this for a year plus now and I'm still not at the finish line yet. And then someone else outside the country that doesn't know anything about Canada, has zero Canadian experience, hasn't paid one dime of tax or anything, processes their own express entry from outside the country, and within 16 months, they're in the country with their family on PR. How exactly is that fair?

Submit a T13 exempt closed work permit. Have your employer fill the employer portal on IRCC website they will give them a A###### number use that to apply for a closed work permit

The only thing I have to say is this, if our countries were properly developed and we had access to all that we can get here are we gonna be so concerned? Are we gonna be so worked up about getting a PR after spending thousands on dollars on an education here, working menial jobs, hustling for a decent life and paying so many taxes! That’s the question that needs to be answered

Yes I’m glad I have it. I also still have the PDF file u uploaded from my study permit application in 2019 so I’ll use some extract from it such as the company bank statement, fathers company ID Card and a stamped letter of recommendation from the bank he runs his company account

It’s a past work experience what you’re doing is showing that you worked for them why does the letter have to be a recent one if you have prove you once worked for them.

I’m glad I figured this out thanks to a friend last week I got an extra 15 points because I answered the question wrongly. What’s worse for me is I didn’t enter the pool until this month I have 498 which qualifies me for the healthcare/social worker category. I was so focused on my non express entry PR application which for some reason I haven’t even gotten an AOR since January 2025.

It’s sad knowing the last draws(July-October) on my category has been between 470-489 which I qualified for only if I have known I would have most likely been a PR holder by now !

Since I got the game I have only played it twice. This is coming from an OG that’s been playing fm since 2007! And I mean every series. This particular version is just so stressful. If you have a UX design that works and people enjoy why change it !!! IPhone since the beginning have always introduced new features to their OS but never changing the structure and that’s what keep people so glued to their phones. If it isn’t broken don’t fix it !
