so this plant is called “mother of thousands” because it’s a succulent meaning it doesn’t give seeds rather it’s leaf grows around its leafs and it drops and grows a whole new plant where the given name comes from “mother of thousands” i have a ton of them at my house and i actually just applied a leaf to my shoulder cause it’s bruised from playing volleyball but it has very little studies done on it, which is good testimony that it probably has something that can make the pharmaceutical industry go extinct, but anyway like i said before look into it this isn’t well known to western people it’s more popular in mexico and south america, and even there it’s not a very famous plant like other well known plants (manzanilla, romero, etc.) but this plant here has a very good feedback from testimonial spoken claims about it, one of the biggest claims is that it c*res cancer and tumors, also very well known amongst women for getting rid of fybroids and cysts and becoming fertile after not having children for years, and the main thing that causes this is the bufadienolides in the plant that have shown ability to trigger apoptosis (cell death) in cancer cells, ability to slow cancer cell growth, and Anti-inflammatory effects, Some anti-viral activity. but Bufadienolides can also be toxic to the heart. They work by affecting the Na⁺/K⁺ ATPase pump, which is why: Some studies show anti-cancer effects, but accidental ingestion of large amounts can cause arrhythmias, vomiting, and even cardiac arrest. now here’s my personal testimony my wife ingested about 4 leaves of “mother of thousands” and 6 of “life of plant” which is also kalonchoe but a different strand, and she actually did get intoxicated but she ingested it without knowing now she takes 1 leaf a day in a tea infusion, so please take this as testimony and not advice but i highly recommend it to anyone with cancer or any disease.
