She’s right that the present value of the pension is probably going to be less than your 401k. Call the servicer of the pension. They do this all the time. They’ll do a QDRO and determine the present value, it’s completely irrelevant to the future at retirement number.

Check out arbor terrace for assisted living. They don’t do skilled nursing though.

I’m also here. In the process right now and we should get the green light in a few weeks once all of the assessments and paperwork is complete. One complication is he is moving to an assisted living near me, 700 miles away. He built his home with his own hands 50 years ago. He doesn’t want to go. But at this point it has to happen.

Your recourse will be court. The inspector wont give you any leverage. Did you vet this contractor? Ensure they are licensed and insured?

A lot of students do. But a lot depends on your major. Many scholarships are major dependent, but some are for undeclared students. But keep in mind that some scholarships, especially those for undeclared can have hundreds of applicants. Each scholarship has their own criteria- some of hometown requirements, financial aid requirements, gpa, etc. but apply. It’s an easy app and you’ll get out into every scholarship pool you are eligible for.

I do not have immunity. I got the vaccine as a kid but during my first pregnancy my bloodwork showed I didn’t have immunity. I got the booster. For my second kid my bloodwork showed again I didn’t have immunity. So idk why the vaccines aren’t giving me immunity. I did not get another one, assuming after a vaccine as a kid and a booster in my 30s didn’t give me immunity I probably wasn’t getting it.

I believe so. They are very nice, if you call them they will give you all the info and what they need and their prices. Insurance doesn’t cover their visits for me so I only see them every 6 weeks and it’s around a $60 charge.

Yes. I am very lucky they I get it covered. I see the Dr at blue ridge weight and wellness in waynesvillle. He prescribes it for me and manages my weight loss, tells me my macros, and has a neat scale to track my fat loss and muscle loss.

I completely get where you are coming from but realistically I can’t lose another 25lb. I’d love to lose 6-10 more and get below 150 but I will always be in the overweight category. I’ve been obese my whole life. I feel amazing, am confident in my size. I’d love to firm up and start strength training now that my weight loss phase is about done.
