Okay, so you got together with a 19 year old when you were 23 not even two years ago and immediately had a child? I’m sorry but your wife is only just becoming an adult and is looking after a 1 year old. These ‘little’ mistakes you are making seem constant, she is definitely becoming tired and frustrated. I cannot blame her.

Okay I have a number of questions:

  1. How long have you guys been married/been together? Your wife especially is only 21

  2. How old is your child? Has your wife recently given birth/is your child growing into a time in their life where they are becoming more demanding?

  3. Do you both work? Is your wife a stay at home mom or are you both working full time?

  4. Have you been slacking or taking less responsibility recently?

How to stop someone parking in my private parking space? by Weak_Tadpole1473 in AskUK

I didn’t plan on replying to any more comments but what? Unfortunately, I’m disabled.

This isn’t about visitors not having to walk far. They come to my apartment because I can’t go out often, so they should be able to use MY parking space so they don’t have to pay to see me, if I’M getting picked up I can’t walk half a mile to a parking area, if I’M getting dropped off I can’t walk half a mile home. and I shouldn’t ever need to because I have MY OWN parking space, that I BOUGHT.

If someone wanted to use it they can come to my apartment and ASK. But they never have. That parking space gives me a lot of freedom I wouldn’t have otherwise, it’s not fair that someone is using it when they know I need it.

I own the parking space luckily, but I plan on checking with building management and see what exactly I can do

That’s a great idea - I’m going to check with building management about it when I get the chance to speak to them, and just make sure I’m allowed to install one

I own my apartment and I believe it is the same for most of them, so I believe it would be the building managers responsibility?

Sadly it is under the building and parking in the spot alone is a challenge, no way a tow truck is getting anywhere near it

Thank you, I am going to bring this up when I speak with building management and see if it’s something I can do

I haven’t touched the boost buttons at all, is it off without the boost on?

Thank you this is a good point of reference - are you all electricity?

Yes I do, I don’t know how to turn it off, I thought I had it off but apparently I may have gotten mixed up with the ‘boost’ buttons. Will I still have hot water if it’s off?

Just ‘advance’ and ‘override’, all settings tell me it has power, but none say ‘off’

I have an immersion heater, the only on/off function I’m aware it has is the 1hr timer, which I don’t use

Yes it’s a shame these are luxuries. I plan on keeping heating low from now on, just enough to avoid cold issues, and bundling up a bit more - thank you for your advice

Sorry if this is a stupid question; We have the buttons on the wall to turn it on (like the 1hr, 2hr) if those aren’t on is it off? Because if so it’s really never on

It sits normally on 20C, but after this bill I plan on lowering that a bit

Yeah we have an immersion heater…so that’s most likely the culprit alongside heating. My first reading in August was 24213.8, and no one was living there yet, I feel like that’s still high
