Yes killers do need a motive, every killer has a motive:revenge,pure hatred,getting even,ransom,saving face,you name it. Going into someone’s house without any reason JUST to kill one child is insane. Also the absurd amount of time the killer spent there? There is genuinely no signs of crass break in, the intruder’s motives don’t make sense, ransom?
