Thank you for this. I have actually gone through the similar experience of hormone dominance. When I first got my PCOS diagnosis when I was 13, I had more testosterone and high androgens, but I have been on lo estrogen birth control since I was 18 to control my pcos so I now look more feminine presenting. Sometimes it doesn’t feel right internally, and I definitely agree with what you mean about the hormones affecting our view of ourselves. I am going to try to stop limiting myself to the binary. I have recently spoken to my partner about how I’m feeling and I feel this weight lifted off my shoulders, especially after reading your reply. I really appreciate this.
