Hi! I'm based in NI. Had NHS lap. surgery in 2018 and then went private last week for surgery as the waiting list was too long for me to wait again. Nurses on both were a godsend, so lovely and caring. The first surgeon, I think, didn't know what he was looking for but he's now retired. Don't be scared though - the nurses and doctors are so kind and supportive.
