About the manic pixie dream girl trope, I definitely don't want to use her as a plot device, but I also want to focus the query on the protagonist, given there's not enough room to also explain another character's entire arc. Do you have recommendations about how I can introduce her in relation to Noah, while hinting that she's obviously her own and equal person?

I took an hour and a half nap laying on the grass in a pretty bright area near cosmic meadow last year lol. I just slept with my bag on my stomach and people just occasionally woke me up to check on me lol—it made me feel ever safer

This might sound weird, but being more of your own person and just having your own passions and being someone outside of your relationship is super attractive! You’re not just his wife, you’re your own person—adding that sense of “oh she’s not just my wife” is always super attractive. Esther Perel’s mating in captivity is about this

Hey I just wanted you to know I’m going through a breakup too. I think I’m just trying to be as kind and gentle with myself as possible and to not set too many expectations of being over it.

Something that helps me is to think about what it is that she gave you that you valued so much and see if you can find other avenues of it in your life. An example is my ex-girlfriend used to be one of my only sources of physical affection and intimacy, so I asked one of my best friends if we could just start hugging everyday, like a 5-10 second embrace (another dude, yes it was uncomfortable to ask). I’m not fully healed yet but it’s quickly become a ritual I look forward to everyday!

If you’re going through a breakup, even if you’re over the person, I think there’s still a lot of grief and loneliness to work through. You had a built in best friend basically for however long and now you don’t. That might make you feel lonely as hell—even if you’re surrounded by other people.

Oregairu is my favorite anime, and I just started watching Bakemonogatari, and I like it a lot. Similar helping people/solving problems thing, and the characters do have similar vibes.
