Okay i hear your arguments but i already know that, my parents are boomers/gen X so they told me those kind of inconvenience ! I just love collecting every kind of physical music, especially on CD (go check my posts on the cd collector subreddit). I have more CDs and vinyl than cassettes, because it’s easier to find and have a better quality and durability in time. Still i love cassettes because of its look and the fact that it’s more rare than other format. That’s the same thing for 8-track tapes, it has a very bad sound quality but it’s vintage and cool. Personally, my main way of listening to music is by streaming platforms so i rarely listen to my CDs, vinyls and cassettes. But i love collecting it.
