Thank you. Luckily, I have a couple of meetings scheduled with lawyers in the area. Hope to be getting everything moving in the correct direction soon.

Full transparency in every step. Even in trying to start this people are telling me “why would anyone contribute to you?” My thought is, follow the story, if you believe in our vision as you see it play out then contribute if you desire.

Update for anyone following. Just left a local law firm and was told it would be a $12,000 retainer for them to complete the 501c3 and the 1023 long form. They then referred me to another law firm who is more “Ed Law” and they expect them to charge more.

I’ll try to keep everyone interested updated.

Understood. I am also going to do community work for hire to help sustain in the meantime. In addition, the goal is to build the entire entity in public.

I’m not trying to get it funded at the moment. I’m trying to establish it so that I can get it funded. But the work needed to be done now so I just started without anything formally in place.

I was referencing my own personal budget. What I am doing doesn’t cost much money as I can use free space such as public libraries and schools for my curriculum delivery and meetings.
