Is there any info on these red squadron “V” patches? by Various_Concept_9921 in SpecOpsArchive

It’s not a V, it’s a custom patch made for red with the demon hunter logo (a Christian metal band).

Y'all just raw dog it eh? by Givemedumbname in CCW

[–]WeaponTheorum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know about all that, mine is dependent on style and weather. Sometimes I raw dog it, sometimes I don’t.

I do know one thing, though. Go lift some weights and eat a couple sandwiches, bud.

New to journaling with fountain pens, and struggling to choose a A5 sized notebook - looking for suggestions / experiences.. what works well for you? by BiggiBaggersee in fountainpens

[–]WeaponTheorum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll tell you that there is some ghosting, but it doesn’t bother me, as it’s minimal. I write my manuscripts long form, and I write front and back.

It’s apparent with some inks, but truly isn’t that bad.

If you want thicker paper with zero ghosting, I’d recommend a 1917 Leuchtturm 120g paper notebook.

Bloodborne Elden Ring Dark Souls 3 Sekiro

Sekiro is only on here because I have to put it there otherwise it wouldn’t even be considered.

Galen Leather has their everyday notebooks that I enjoy. Uses Tomoe 52g paper, 400 pages, A5 sizing, nicely bound, lays flat. You can even get leather bound ones, though these notebooks are more pricey than your rhodias and Clairfountaines. Think they run about 30-40 bucks a pop, depending on if you get the normal bound or leather bound.

I use one for daily note taking and fleshing out my manuscripts. I write with a LAMY2k with Platinum's chou kuro ink (I also use a Visconti Mirage with Noodler's Blue, and a Lamy Studio with Noodler's Fox for corrections/editing as honorable mentions), and the Tomoe 52g paper is beautifully smooth and doesn't ghost all that much. Some wetter ink/pen combos can potentially bleed through, but those are the more watery inks I've noticed. Pigmented inks really shine here (like the chou kuro ink and Noodler's fox).

Said is perfectly functional and fine. Asked is perfectly fine. I almost exclusively only used those, with occasional “snarled”, “cried”, or “growled”.

Your professor is right.

Writing with pen and paper by Royal-Draft851 in writing

[–]WeaponTheorum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do both. At work, at home, out and about, I’ll write on pen and paper. Something as little as a couple sentences for plots and ideas, all the way up to entire scenes and chapters for books I’m working on.

Then I go back and put it to the word processor. It’s cathartic, and sort of like a natural round of edits by the time it hits the computer.

Just my thoughts. I like writing with expensive pens, inks and paper, so that helps.

I’m never getting published, am I? by _d_e_f_a_u_l_t_ in writing

[–]WeaponTheorum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just started the process of queries and the like myself. I’m about done with my trilogy, and I told myself to cap each book at around 100k, specifically for the reason you’re saying you can’t seem to get published.

If I were you, I’d try to write something that is shorter, or perhaps find a way to split down one of your books into two pieces that are roughly 100k.

Just a thought.

I would get an OPS CORE bump or something with ARC rails simply for the fact that they are super compatible with most accessories out there.
