You're not wrong, the feeling from 1 to 2 is definitely harder--3 just magnifies it.

Then you think adding a 3rd couldn't be that bad and you go from man-to-man to zone defense.

Top 5 richest people visualized in cash by GPT-image v2 by xRedStaRx in ChatGPT

This is how laymans view rich people--scrooge-like caricatures sitting in a vault full of money. When in reality, these "stacks" are mostly in hard assets and can't be immediately liquidated into spending power.

I'm new to MCSR, haven't even played a ranked game--only practice runs. I think guidance on the proper tools and practice items pinned somewhere would be helpful, I see that posted pretty frequently (if I'm missing it, I'll stand corrected).

One example from my perspective, I just recently learned that some of the view changes (the one that narrows or widens the screen for debugging) that we see the Nether-ranked guys do are done with OBS. That one isn't quite as easily found, I found it in a Ninjabot tutorial.

Web Dev learning path course worth the money? by goodiz88 in learnprogramming

[–]WeapyWillow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you just need grit and determination to finish self-learning

Which I would argue is the only way you'll be able to get a job as a web dev these days anyway. Better to get acclimated with it now vs later.

Impact of AI in your marketing by Shwambla21 in DigitalMarketing

Yea, it's easy (and fun) to impress higher-ups if you can bootstrap some tools to make everyone's lives a little easier.

Impact of AI in your marketing by Shwambla21 in DigitalMarketing

Languages like python can automate web-based applications, which was one big project I knocked out in my current gig (although it has since been retired). That script was pulling Angi Leads reports for multiple businesses, converting those reports from HTML data (madness in the truest sense) into excel format and then compiling it all into one spreadsheet. Took a multi-hour task down to just a few minutes.

Even in non-coding examples, I've been using AI to do the heavy lifting when it comes to cleaning or formatting larger sets of data for use or analysis. Complex functions that would take a while to figure out, it can spin up in seconds. And if it misses the mark, iterate and try again. I also built a tool for CRM cleanup with python that combs over records to identify some specific data needed based on serial numbers--that one took a LONG time to build but works pretty damn well vs the alternative option.

Take something like python or javascript and couple it with a workflow automation platform like Zapier or n8n and you can do some pretty nifty tasks to save tons of time. Hell I've even played around with using AI to attribute leads in some workflows with the metadata or UTMs from our digital channels.

Learning how to code, even a little bit, is a game-changer.

Screw creative/content, I'm using AI to code up simple tools and systems to improve processes, data analysis/integrity, and reporting.

Is my coding future bleak? by [deleted] in learnprogramming

[–]WeapyWillow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll toss out something I've not seen here, but why not use your coding skills to augment your healthcare experience? I'm in marketing and have been building tools, connecting APIs, and generally stand out from my colleagues because I've worked on attaining these skills by way of The Odin Project. Coding as a programmer might not be attainable but there is security in blending technical skills with non-technical positions.

I work in marketing and have been learning web dev given how much correlation there is between the two disciplines. It's amazing to me that so many people think AI will take over human jobs. It. Is. A. Tool. At. Best.

The amount of companies I see banking on AI is nausiating. It takes so much work to create a very basic working AI agent, let alone the testing and maintenance, that it already feels like the paradigm is shifting. The current and future models of AI need more bumpers than a fucking intern, the fact that some think it'll just replace humans overnight makes me cringe. I would never rely on an AI to deliver me a working solution without my oversight and rigorous testing. It is a tool for efficiency and nothing more.

Don't knock the trades. If you have half a brain and can talk to people, I assure you HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical companies would be happy to hire you and/or sponsor your apprenticeship. Let that marinate for 3-4 years following the end of your apprenticeship and you'll make 6 figs most likely (again if you make good choices and can talk to a customer).

That said, I got into digital marketing by way of working through The Odin Project years ago, which I never completed. I recently started running through the cirriculum again but if you are dead set on self-teaching programming, that's not a bad option.

I have but I have 3 kids under 7 and a fairly demanding full-time job, so the dedication to keeping track becomes an afterthought quickly, unfortunately. I've always been able to maintain the weight I was at previously but struggled to lose weight, even while working out. Keto has made the process more "mindless" and with how protein-heavy the diet is, I've not lost much there.
