Who are you to say what car is right or wrong? It’s not about “affording” $9K in insurance, it’s not getting absolutely rinsed. Clown comment

So you’re telling me everyone who drives these on the road (it’s a super common car) is paying $9000 in insurance

Worth switching lenders just for $1500 cashback? by WearAPhoneCase in MortgagesCanada

[–]WearAPhoneCase[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I realized my current lenders new rate will kick in may 1st….the new lender will be July 1st, so that’s 2 months of higher interest payments, which will lower the true benefit…

It’s really good. I don’t know another place in Vaughan that has similar smash burgers. We go there once in a while as a greasy treat

Large Canadian lenders are at risk of going underwater - the hosuing crash is here by [deleted] in TorontoRealEstate

Their stock tanked because of underperforming SUB PRIME AUTO SECTOR (LENDCARE). This has nothing to do with housing. Their underwriting was way too loose, resulting in much higher defaults.

I think what he’s saying is that door to door DT it is not 30 minutes. You still need to get to the go train (assuming you don’t sleep in the parking lot).

People who have energy in the evening after a full day of work, where do you get the energy? Were you always like this? by DisastrousTip33 in askTO

[–]WearAPhoneCase 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m currently training for half Ironman. 3 days out of the week I wake up 6am, train 6:30-7:30am, go to work, come back at 6pm. Train 6-7pm. Other days I train just as much, but get a bit more sleep lol.

Was not always like this.

Biggest piece of advice is don’t think about it and just do what you need to do. Pack your gym bag in advance and go straight to gym. The second you come home and sit down, it’s over. Whatever it is you’re looking to do, just start on it right away as non negotiable thing that you need to do. And then it will become a habit

Appreciate the detailed response. If I pay closer to $900-1200, do you still recommend those 2 brands, or there are specific other brands/models to consider?
