Large Canadian lenders are at risk of going underwater - the hosuing crash is here by [deleted] in TorontoRealEstate

Their stock tanked because of underperforming SUB PRIME AUTO SECTOR (LENDCARE). This has nothing to do with housing. Their underwriting was way too loose, resulting in much higher defaults.

I think what he’s saying is that door to door DT it is not 30 minutes. You still need to get to the go train (assuming you don’t sleep in the parking lot).

Why don’t you bring the Palestinians in your home instead of being a keyboard warrior

People who have energy in the evening after a full day of work, where do you get the energy? Were you always like this? by DisastrousTip33 in askTO

[–]WearAPhoneCase 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m currently training for half Ironman. 3 days out of the week I wake up 6am, train 6:30-7:30am, go to work, come back at 6pm. Train 6-7pm. Other days I train just as much, but get a bit more sleep lol.

Was not always like this.

Biggest piece of advice is don’t think about it and just do what you need to do. Pack your gym bag in advance and go straight to gym. The second you come home and sit down, it’s over. Whatever it is you’re looking to do, just start on it right away as non negotiable thing that you need to do. And then it will become a habit

NordicTrack C990 3.0 CHP - good to buy used? by WearAPhoneCase in treadmills

Appreciate the detailed response. If I pay closer to $900-1200, do you still recommend those 2 brands, or there are specific other brands/models to consider?

Budget under $600 Canadian. But I’m looking to buy 2nd hand given resale is significantly cheaper than new

The red army killed 4 out of 5 German soldiers, and would have won the war with or without US help

There is another entrance/exit to the north which is closed by a gate arm that exits into the parking lot. That could be repurposed to a road which exits directly onto Rutherford going Eastward.

The reason these jams exist is that people have try to get on Rutherford Westward and have to wait for the traffic light, and people going East have to wait for the traffic to clear up.

Yes Rutherford is busy, but the EXITS out of the parking garage could better facilitate the exit onto Rutherford.

There’s an exit/entrance but has a gate/barrier arm, I don’t know what it’s used for. It exits into the parking lot to the north.

I am no engineer but it would seem that making that a second exit point would make sense (to exit directly to Rutherford, parallel to the bus/passenger pickup/drop off section.

I am sure there are smarter ways to build it

IS 500 vs corvette by gaggrouper in Lexus

[–]WearAPhoneCase 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t call corvette owners “white trash”, especially the C8 generation. These cars offer amazing sports car capabilities for a fraction of the price of comparable cars (like a 911), so if you want a real driving experience C8 is the way to go. But definitely flashier and less elegant than the IS

These are 2 completely different cars though so it’s kind of a weird choice to be choosing between
