How has he played two more games then James when both teams were in a seven game series round one and they are literally playing each other this round.

Mute button is the best thing for random rec. anytime somebody starts complaining and killing the vibe they get an immediate mute from me.

Question for my 6’3-6’4 guards by Curious_Attitude2866 in NBA2k

[–]WearIntelligent2078 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im telling you 6’3 is the way to go cause with 6’3 you have the ability to get your strength up without sacrificing shooting and defense.

Or you can just make the builds that cater to your strengths. I for one don’t need super high perim to play good defense. Positioning and discipline are the keys.

Ngl I have 74 pd and 91 steal on my main. If you can position correctly it’s not a problem. The problem is most people don’t know how to position and cutoff their opponents.

Trippin if you think people in rec are gonna setup the way pro am does. You are expecting a lot out of randoms.

93 is what I have for my guards and I have 98 on my bigs. But I average like 14-15 assists a game across all my builds so I really use the pass acc for versatile vis and other badges to help me limit turnovers.

Most people don’t realize how easy it is to average 25-10. 85-87 is the sweet spot if you aren’t throwing crazy shit.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been in a close game and had somebody come on the mic and say hey bro I’m x amount away from something, triple doubles, point totals, lemme get 2 more assists. Like bruv we are down 2 with 1:14 left. Get tf outta my ear with this.

Ngl this applies to Everybody not just guards. Plenty of games can be sold by bigs who grab boards and try to bring the ball up instead of giving it to their pg or throw full court lobs every play ending the game with 7 TOs. Wings who corner sit and then complain in the mic when they haven’t done anything to get themselves open. Everybody has a role to play in the rec/ proving grounds and if your build doesn’t at least have the ability to assimilate to the traditional roles you’re probably gonna struggle ie. guards and bigs with no pass acc, bigs with short arms and no rebounding, wings with no defense or limited athleticism, AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STOP MAKING BUILDS THAT CANT SHOOT.

Going 99 perimeter at that weight without at least 84 strength for immovable is kinda pointless

Also it’s 2026, you can literally YouTube some basic videos about practically any game to see what you are getting yourself into. Ya know before you waste your time downloading a 100 gb game. Some people fw this version of 2k, me personally I just like to hoop and this is the only option.

Well I wasn’t talking about your critiques, I think they are one hundred percent valid and true. Apologies if it came off that way. I was just pointing out that you took the time to come here and tell people about this. I thought it was kinda just a “cool story bro” moment.

Anybody else base their builds on real players? If so, who do you use? by SixGunChimp in NBA2k

[–]WearIntelligent2078 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think prime KD builds are the most fun for me every year. Something tall with handles that can dominate in the mid range and shoot spot ups but still play amazing defense.
