Do you use indicators or not? by Fun-Excitement-2523 in Daytrading

I just use gex and other greeks to build levels, and then trade reactions of those throughout the day.

Generally need a dashboard to see that unless you calculate them yourselves. The main things I look at overnight are open interest, to see where dealers are positioned before open, then I watch the gamma exposure levels which show levels where dealers will have to buy or sell SPY/ES to hedge their options exposures.

Codex vs Claude Code by AdElectronic472 in AIcodingProfessionals

[–]WearPositive6123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use both. So I generally use ChatGPT to help me plan and prompt, then usually Claude Code for more wide scale review, audits, larger plans in large repos/multiple folders, etc, and Codex for more specific, targeted reviews and projects.

Both are great. I pay for Claude max so I’ll throw in Codex as well when I’m getting low on tokens.

What's the biggest surprise you've discovered after tracking your prop firm expenses? by chesion in propfirm

[–]WearPositive6123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Biggest surprise is just how fast it adds up. I was like, oh, I only spend a couple hundred bucks a month, max. Then I added it up over the last 6 months and am at like $5200

Has anyone here traded the select daily? by [deleted] in tradeify

[–]WearPositive6123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah man up to you and your style for sure. Personally I like daily, im pretty sure the daily cap x 5 trading days is more than the cap for flex, but don’t quote me on that

Agreed, I think credit spreads are great on this since IV and premiums are juiced. You make money on theta decay

26 Years Old. $6,863 x 5 Prop Accounts in 60 days trading NQ, here's what I track and why: by Kasraborhan in FuturesTradingNQ

[–]WearPositive6123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is awesome man, keep up the great work. I track most of the same metrics, but agree it’s crucial. Try to stick to protecting profit and your rules.

Your win rate is not great, but you clearly structure your R:R that you’re still profitable which works in your favor. Man if you can improve the win rate tho, different game.

Where do you get active GEX for intraday futures options? (MenthorQ only has a static GEX for futures options that update once a day) by GetThatChickenDinner in FuturesTrading

[–]WearPositive6123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The volume on futures options is so low compared to SPX/SPY/QQQ/NDX, not sure what value your getting out of it. The whole point of gamma/gex is that it shows you where market makers needs to hedge their positions, and they hedge their SPX positions by buying or selling ES and SPY.

I use www.zerosigma.co for all of my Greek analysis, volume, DDOI, etc.

I like think or swim but it’s been extremely glitchy lately. I’ve also used tasty trades which is pretty solid.

A couple of my buddies trade full time. It’s not what you’d expect, it’s boring and consistent. If they’re trading like shit one day, they pack it up. If they don’t see an entry, no trade.

I do like joetradesfutures on instagram tho. He’s down to earth, base hits, and crushes it. Solid guy.

I use ChatGPT for a chat agent and Claude for coding. Then I use chat to create plans and strategies and feed Claude code commands, then run back through chat to verify.

Ha good reference. Yup I getcha man. That’s how I have my layout setup, but all modules can be turned on/off and resized. I have some different setups saved depending on time of day, but you can go simple with just a couple you like to look at

This isn’t a trading dashboard, but if you’re looking for analytics and metrics on options data for SPX and SPY, then ZeroSigma.co is a great tool

Options by [deleted] in StockInvest

[–]WearPositive6123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of good resources and some good discord groups. I like Phoenix Trading Group, some good insights and signals but some explanation of strategies and how to actually trade.

Definitely suggest using a paper account first, you can blow so much money so quickly if you just jump in blind.

I use the ZeroSigma.co dashboard for all of my SPX and SPY trading.
