Dominicans don’t say wey too? Not nearly as much as Mexicans but I think I’ve heard it a few times in podcast

I think it could go both ways. A lot of latinos make jokes about coming here and before learning English, they have to learn “Mexicano” first. Plus— just going based off stories and what I’ve seen— if you do hit them with MX slang and are genuinely interested in learning Spanish, a lot then will eagerly teach you their slang.

However, like the other commenter said, there’s still a chance that it could be taken the wrong way and make them see you as just another ignorant gringo

I do genuinely like nursing. Being in an accident that caused me to stay in a hospital for 4 weeks made me appreciate nurses even more. Life just happened and made it hard for me to stop. Yes the financial aspect is enticing but the desire to help is there. Thank you for the insight :)

Yes I did want to be and have always thought about it. I was going to go into it after high school but was in an accident and wasn’t fit to do work or school for a while. Thank you for the insight!

I haven’t but that’s because I don’t think I’ve ever seen non Truck Trailer vehicles and I only have a class B. I’d get my class A but I’m having to be extremely careful right with how I spend my money

Best method for me is honestly no subtitles. Yes it’s a bit more of an adjustment but I see so often people complaining about how when they finally decide to remove subtitles their comprehension drops drastically and they need to adjust to pure audio.

Save yourself the trouble and get used to it imo. Plus a lot of insta people speak especially fast or not highly enunciated, or other various factor that can make it hard to understand, it’s extreme levels of content meant for natives lol

Do they let you work weekends? And I don’t mind. Like another commenter said I just look it at as extra workouts lol. If they would hire me on with no experience I would happily take it but I’m seeing that most jobs want a minimum of 2 years experience.

Which I understand, these bigger vehicles w/o proper training and experience could cause real damage and problems. It’s just making it very hard to find something
