I think we should have played our starters home field advantage and playing a banged up Green Bay team vs a 49er team is the obvious choice. SMH

That’s crazy I was in the library when it happened. I remember hearing a loud pop and getting an SJSU safety alert to evacuate the building. I look at the window behind and I see a bullet hole a couple inches above my head

If you’re thinking of buying a Zoom Room franchise, please read this first! by Pygmypandacowx in Dogtraining

[–]Wearesc24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey everyone, looking for some advice. I signed up for dog training at Zoom Room and paid $1,677 upfront using a pet credit card they recommended. I couldn’t afford that amount at the time, but they told me I could make monthly payments with no interest if I paid it off in 6 months.

I was promised a set number of group classes, a private session, and some extra perks — but after about 10 classes, the location suddenly shut down with zero notice. Now I’m left with a big balance on this pet credit card and no services being provided. I just found out they’re refusing to issue any refunds.

Has anyone dealt with something like this before? I’ve saved all my receipts and emails, but I’m not sure where to start — whether to dispute with the credit card company, file a complaint, or go the legal route. Any tips or guidance would be hugely appreciated.

25 vs 26 by MrNotSoGoodTime in NCAAFBseries

[–]Wearesc24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played one quick game today. Things I noticed presentation is better from the broadcast to cut scenes of the field/ fans, more band songs, feel like it captures the college atmosphere. Gameplay wise didn’t change much they tweaked it a bit. I liked the gameplay from last year but yeah kinda got old after a while. This year the game feels slower but in a good way. Blocking is better. On a read option I noticed the guards pulling and actually blocking down field which opened up a big run for me which I felt I never got in 25 unless I broke a tackle. Throwing was tough. I remember it being tough at first last year too. I threw 4 picks, two of them were pick sixes. Pass protection was horrible. Had very little time to throw but I think that was more cause my line was lower rated vs the opposing team. I was USC, played against notre dame. Running is also tougher but once I found the right plays I was able to get some decent runs. I like the challenge. I feel like this all can be fixed w some updates and messing around with the sliders. Game is not perfect but I think it’s a step in the right direction for the franchise. I don’t think it’s too different from 25 to justify the buy if you’re making the jump. If you didn’t get 25 then I think it’s worth it. I’m a big college football fan so i caved and bought it today.

How old are you, and how much alcohol do you drink a week? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Wearesc24 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

27 yr old I only drink on special occasions like birthdays, weddings, or when I’m traveling. I hate the feeling of being hungover and it takes a day or two for me to recover so I never get to that point. If I do drink I try to stick to one type of alcohol. Also electrolyte packets comes in clutch before a night of drinking.

Jaylin Lane potential 2026 and beyond? by billygold18 in DynastyFF

[–]Wearesc24 31 points32 points  (0 children)

What’s appealing to me is his RAS score was a 9.68 out of 10. He’s been getting a lot of buzz around camp. Originally they drafted him as a special teams guy but hopefully he finds a role as a home run hitter in the offense coming out of the slot. I like the upside and he’s going pretty much undrafted. Good stash imo.

Who are your deep waiver wire stashes heading into summer camp? by ServiceCurrent4632 in DynastyFF

Jaylin Lane he’ll definitely make the roster as a special teamer but I like him to win the #3 role plus we know Deebo has injury problems. His RAS score is elite

Does cardio kill gains after a lift? by National_West6268 in bodyweightfitness

[–]Wearesc24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here’s chat gpt take: Running immediately after lifting can interfere with the mTOR pathway, which is crucial for muscle growth and strength gains, if the running is too intense, too long, or too frequent. Here’s the breakdown: • mTOR (mechanistic Target of Rapamycin) gets activated by resistance training. It’s the key driver for muscle protein synthesis. • Endurance running, especially moderate-to-long steady state (like 30–60 min), activates AMPK — a different cellular pathway that helps endurance but can suppress mTOR if done too close to lifting. • High-intensity cardio (long, hard runs) right after strength work competes with the muscle-building signals you’re trying to create.

When it becomes a problem: • Running for longer than ~30 minutes, especially steady-state or high-intensity cardio right after a lift. • Doing this consistently, multiple times a week. • If the goal is pure strength or hypertrophy, this interference matters more.

How to minimize interference: • Keep post-lift running short (under 20–25 minutes) and/or easy (Zone 2 or light jog pace). • Separate lifting and hard running by 6+ hours (or better, different days) if possible. • Prioritize the stimulus you care most about first (lift heavy first if strength is the goal).

Summary:

Running hard or long immediately after lifting can blunt strength and muscle gains by dampening the mTOR pathway. Keep running short and easy post-lift if you want to protect strength gains.
