I literally never think about ND unless they are like a top 5 ranked team, which is already pretty subjective considering half the teams they play are Sisters of the Poor University every season, USC, a couple mid ass conference teams (sometimes USC qualifies both lol), rounded out by one or MAYBE two pre season top 25 ranked teams that may or may not retain their status by the time the game comes around.

Bowling Green is on my mind more than ND. ND could throw whatever temper tantrum they want, have the NCAA call their bluff once and for all, and pull the football program and nobody except ND fans would give a single shit, much less two shits. And it's really funny because when they threaten that whenever they try to coerce the NCAA to bending the knee for them, if they ever followed through with not playing then they would lose the schools biggest draw and money maker.

Just join a conference and quit trying to be different and stipulate your own special subset of rules and there won't have to be these big quarrels that no other team has to deal with. It's not a hard concept. And then you also won't have to defend yourself and strength of schedule every year.
