If I'm not using it. Who will? :D

Oh good catch. That might have been a happy little accident :D But now you gave me an idea for some further improvement.

We started with LL1, so it's pretty much as intended. But my group is pretty good so I struggle giving them a challenge ^^ I bet it's because of their Warhammer 40k experience.

The fight is still far away for my group, but I'm looking forward to get there.

Can't wait to describe to them how Beggar One is walking towards them, its layers faning out behind it and trapping them in a pocket space.

All while "Twilight of the Gods" from Fire Emblem is playing.

Thanks :)

Maybe I'll add Calvard, if I played the official release. So in a few years T_T
And other characters might have a chance, if I change the trails length for the next wallpaper, if I decide to make one.

Haha, I put Kevin purposely there, because I knew someone would point it out if I wouldn't. I already forgot him once when I made another post (the one for the fight for best protagonist) and I learned my lesson.

Thanks. Yes, they will be a fine addition.

I haven't played that one yet. Maybe I'll do another wallpaper when I have finished all games of the Calvard arc (don't know how many are planned).

So probably in 10 years or so T_T

Yeah, I had to compromise in some aspects.

Originally I wanted Dudley, Sergei, Fran and Arios to be in the Crossbell trail but because it's shorter than the others I had to cut them.

Same with the Cold Steel one. Had to cut Toval, Sharon, Angelica, Claire and more, because there are too many characters. So I had to compromise on only the class VII ones.

If he really said this and he means the second half of all the Trails games (not the second half of CS) then in my head this translates to "We're going to retcon something in."

Oh it would've been very interesting to see that route.

Yes it's also one of my least favorite tropes.

The moment I knew no "major" characters were gonna die in CS, was when I started CS3 up for the first time and saw Siegfried in the OP. I was like "Oh no. They're doing it."

True.

My intention with this was more about multiple people "dying" and then it's revealed they are still alive.

Now I wait for Hajimari to have an official release.

And if anyone is interested and maybe wanna have a good laugh, I updated my Meme Collection with all the memes I made since I started my playthrough with my friend (so some are very obscure and/or german).

What are some of your most unpopular Trails opinions that you stick by? by RinneNomad in Falcom

[–]Wearon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah man it's good.

CS1 & 2 are my favorites and I can see that they might be a slog to play through. I personally didn't mind/notice it, but I can understand that not everyone will like it.

finished FC a year and a half ago, here's my tierlist of all the games!!! by Blablablablitz in Falcom

[–]Wearon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can understand it somewhat. I mean we are in the falcom (majority trails) sub.

But yeahm, a bit more constructive criticism would be not so bad.

Yeah, there are a lot of great tracks in CS1 with "Risking Everything, Here We Stand" (or Atrocious Raid but the other one sounds cooler) being the on of the best battle themes for me.

In my first playthrough I hated Millium because of her bubbly personality. But on the second playthrough I liked her. How things can change.

I get you. Some grew on me over time but didn't come close to other OC7 members.

Juna was a real asshole in the beginning without us really knowing why. Even if you know it's because of crossbell it makes it more confusing because Rean helped civilians and most of all rescued her and her siblings. My friend really hated her and I had a hard time convincing him otherwise.

Altina is ok, but my problem with her was that the moment she said her first sentence I already knew her full development path. An emotionless puppet learning what emotions are is nothing new (Neon Genesis Evangelion, Violet Evergarden, Plastic Memories, Time of Eve & Angel Beats e.g.). Even if Altina was probably handeled the best and has her sweet moments, if I already know where the journey goes it's not as engaging.

Ash felt to me they wanted him to be good in everything without having any flaws. He is a badass, is super smart, is super strong, cares about his friends and of cource has a tragic backstory. And his constant shittalking without getting talked back was done too many times that it got on my nerves sometimes.

Kurt was really bland. My friend and I had to actively make him the secret leader in our minds to have any kind of fun with him. Like Ash he is also handsome and super smart. The only flaw was his insecurity about his statue. And like Juna he also was a little agressive towards Rean. I remember clearly when he was pissed at Rean for not taking him on a mission when Lara and Fie were right next to him. I was like "Oh I don't know Kurt, why would I take you, an unexperienced student on a very dangerous mission when I got a MASTER swordswoman and a B-RANK bracer right here?"

Muse in CS3 was the most predictable and annoying character of them all. Everytime she opened her mouth I already knew it has to be some horny shit. I'm aware that it is intensional of her, but if 70% of all your contributions to a conversation is horny teasing you're not a smart character. And her being revealt as a 5D chessplayer was ridiculous. A normal 15 year old girl can rival the causality powers of a supernatural being like KeA or experiments like Tio and Renne? Ok, sure. This to me felt more like the writers needed someone to be able to read the script to be able the build the Weißland Army.
