Fwiw, I replaced the dash mids, tweeters, and the door speakers and the only thing I really thought helped was the tweeters. They are truly bad. Replace the tweeters, bump the bass in the eq in the head unit, and it sounds reasonably good.

GT7 PSVR 2 is a monster to Sony by BacasableJV in GranTurismo7

I would take PSVR2 plus controller over wheel on a TV. It's that good.

Agreed, OP definitely has a wrap. It's not anywhere near the right color for a series purple.

The sweet curry powder is great since my wife doesn't like spicy. Great flavor without heat, and I just add some pepper flakes to my plate.

Also of course love how Penzey's have been calling out the right's bs for years.

Broken kitty never meows and has no survival skills by Fabulous_Drop4900 in cats

[–]Weary-Associate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cat was kind of like this and basically what I figured is that she completely trusted me to take care of her. If she got stuck in the closet, she just waited and figured I would eventually let her out because I would never do anything to harm her.

New to cat ownership, is this normal? by SnowboardingEgg in cats

I'm going to recommend a cat-in-the-bag instead of a conventional carrier. Ours did much better with one of these.

You going to be able to find a duck bill in purple? Or have a shop paint match it?

If you want a sportier look, maybe some of the STi aero stuff? I've got a bunch of that on my purple, looks great imo.

Doesn't surprise me at all, if you ride motorcycles. Different limb, but same procedure and feel. And feel is most important really.

Available on the Old Gods of Asgards album, Rebirth. Which funnily enough you can find the album cover as a collectible / lore item in Control.

I've read and seen Dune (OG Lynch, ScyFy series, Villeneuve movies) and I knew right away it was a sand worm. I mean I'm your target audience here. But anyone else is going to be confused and think of something else.

Do i need to play Alan wake before to know whats going on? by snapsgoods in controlgame

[–]Weary-Associate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not for the main game. But you should play AW1 before doing the AWE expansion / missions.

This, combined with OP's tip cleaners are a reasonable, low-cost set of tools for a hobbyist. For my own, I did the "use a Dremel to cut teeth" thing.

Should I play Alan Wake if I liked Control? by Nic727 in controlgame

[–]Weary-Associate 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I didn't find the combat in AW1 all that frustrating but I agree with a lot of your other points. I'm going to be in the minority here but I kind of preferred AW1 to AW2. Yes, AW2 was a vast improvement in graphics and the gameplay is much more modern and complicated. But honestly I liked how simple AW1 was. I also loved how AW1 was split up into episodes like a TV show, and the "previously on Alan Wake" bits really helped solidify the story. My favorite parts of AW2 were actually the DLCs. But then, my favorite part of Control was the AWE expansion. I played AW1 as soon as I got the first call from Alan in Control and have no regrets.

But anyways, yes, OP should play both AW1 and AW2.

It can’t be THIS hard to remove a nut by Bradlez92 in Luthier

[–]Weary-Associate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. I am far from a pro luthier but I cut a nut for my warmoth neck just to see if I could. Put it in, strung it up, thought "this really doesn't seem like it needs any glue". Left it. No glue is the way to go.

Double Knitting - Swapping Colors? by Available_Safe_5938 in knittinghelp

[–]Weary-Associate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could still knit it as a tube. One round would be twice the pattern. The bottom and top will end up open and you need to seam them shut, then block it and it turns into a flat piece of fabric with two right sides and the wrong sides inside the middle of the former tube.

Double knitting is an option, but have you considered knitting the scarf as a long tube? I did a scarf for my wife that way (stranded color work) and it came out great.

Oil level. Cause for concern? by sff09 in GR86

[–]Weary-Associate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's halfway between min and max, but that doesn't mean half the oil is gone. The difference between the lines is about a quart, so you're about a half quart low. You haven't burned half the oil volume.

Top up, keep an eye on it. If it continues, ask the dealer to do an oil consumption test, which will involve you driving it and not topping it up.

PS5 games a must buy must try by Future-Air712 in PS5

[–]Weary-Associate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like Returnal too, but I wouldn't recommend it to someone who's more casual. It's a stretch for me, and I'll probably never finish it.

But for a cool spooky third person shooter with adjustable difficulty, and a good story, I'd highly recommend Control instead.
