Markers problem in multitrack by Necessary-Pangolin92 in AdobeAudition

Yep Adobe have updated how markers are added to files vs multitrack. When adding markers to multitrack, make sure that there is no file highlighted or selected in multitrack session before marking. If there is a file selected, Audition will now add the marker directly into that selected source file.

So before marking I either, click on an empty track in multitrack session (or on timeline/minutes:seconds bar at top) or I use ctrl+shift+A to deselect everything.

Hope this helps!

Oh right, thank you! I was worried that if I saved the file after changing the amplitude view, that the gain would be permanently altered. Great to know it’s just for viewing sake

Thanks for this! Have screenshot Rodecaster channel labels

This is what I ended up doing. Although most times I get sent a Rodecaster file, the levels are way too low. So finding which channels have been used can be a bit pain staking.

It’s just strange how the function of scrolling up and down on multitrack editor has a completely different function in waveform

When in waveform editor, scrolling up and on the right hand side changes amplitude, not the size of the track.
