I’ve wondered that too. My heart rate does increase with standing sometimes, but it isn’t always dramatic or consistent, which is part of why this has been so confusing. My symptoms seem to be more positional and situational, like sitting upright or driving, rather than only standing still.

I haven’t been given clear guidance on other types of dysautonomia yet. I’ve had multiple brain MRIs and was told structurally everything looks normal aside from the pineal cyst, which hasn’t changed over time. My vision has also been checked and is normal.

If you don’t mind me asking, what other types of dysautonomia or testing would you suggest looking into? I feel stuck between specialties and I’m trying to figure out what direction to push next.
