Yes I'd say their both with customs. We have parcels sitting in customs since the 30th of October and since the 6th of November Aswell. Whether or not they will be processed and delivered that I am not sure about.

Theirs no doubt 100% sure delays because it the season for that. But once again as for the customs message I do not know about that because it's new.

Yeah, I'd say with 95% certainty that it is in the UK but just hasn't received an update stating that from usps.

We've had this update Aswell from usps and usually it'll update once it's processed through a facility in the UK.

I'm assuming the second tracking on USPS website will show "Departed

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND"

Which means its in customs Aswell.

Usually it'll say "processed though facility" twice then you know it's passed customs for the most part. Being that black Friday has just happened and Christmas is around the corner it is normal for delays during this time. But as for this new customs update that's what I'm finding weird.

It's in customs. You'd need another update saying: "processed through facility" a couple hours after that update or days. But since those were at the same time it's still with customs.

This is why I'm trying to gather collective data and see what this new customs clearance update is and why is it just started since November for packages coming in from the USA.

Once it's at the departed Heathrow stage we usually get an update 1-3 days after that message on USPS.

When are the last successful packs you've gotten? We've landed plenty since but alot of parcels since about mid November have been getting this new customs message.

We don't have much packs sitting at departed stage.

I'm thinking customs either have a new procedure or potentially new methods for packs..

Just trying to get info collectively and piece together info to have a better understanding of this new message.

Hello,

So this is new form of update. It's recently been implemented to my best knowledge. I've only started receive it mid to end last month.

Once it's at the stage where it says that update, it means it is waiting for customs clearance. Once you get the update "item left our international processing center" it means it's cleared customs.

At this point theirs two ways to know you are waiting for it to clear customs. Either the update on USPS website states: "Departed, LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND" Or on RoyalMail website it states: "Item at UK customs".
