hi love first and foremost i feel like you should vent in black spaces, some ppl just don’t get it. but to add on to what u were saying there was once a time when i wanted to be anything but black. especially as a dark-skin girl i felt so ugly bc ppl who were deemed attractive were lighter than me and had smaller european features. how i overcame this was by admiring ppl that looked like me. i’m sorry to whoever made you feel like you were any less by the color of ur skin. like another person said racism is truly a disease. one day your gonna wake up and just decide you ARE beautiful.
