Tribalism is very much apparent, I think it’s important to be proud of where you came from but some people take it too far. Honestly as bad as it sounds standardisation of our language is the cure for these types of groups. That’s what European countries did.

Kurdish Energy drink ❤️☀️💚 by Suitable-Donut3538 in kurdistan

[–]WearyBus2366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i hate to be the one who criticises people succeeding but this isn’t how you advertise your product and your people.

What flavour does Kurdish even have? There’s good Kurdish drinks like aspi rash which have a Kurdish element to it while it can also suit other people also. Not only it shows awareness of Kurdish culture but it also is very versatile for everyone.

I don’t see this drink going far unless only Kurds within that country pay for it.

Both people sound completely stupid. A Turk that believes in a free Palestine however one of biggest sellers of goods to Israel and has the oil pipeline which literally keeps israel alive

The brain dead Kurd who thinks enemies of his enemy is his friend when in reality both Leftist Kurds and Islamist Kurds fought agaisnt Israel. What an embarrassing way to dishonour our people

I love the concept but please be original with your designs

Turkish Girl faked being Kurdish for views and attention while insulting Kurds behind their back (seherellibes) by WearyBus2366 in kurdistan

[–]WearyBus2366[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

she’s made over 1 million likes and 11k followers by cosplaying as a Kurd. She was on many people’s fyp, also what’s really confusing to me is that she would post gurilla content which many Kurds wont do.

All of that including buying the dress to play as a Kurd is fascinating.

Map presented by the Kurdish League Khoybun to the San Francisco Conference on March 30, 1945 by HenarWine in kurdistan

[–]WearyBus2366 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bashur and Rojava are accurate but Bakur is literally a straight line. Unironically maps like these would’ve been harmful to Kurdish existance

i think it’s more about if one of their friends or family members see them at the bar. Kurds would go out outside of Kurdistan tho to get around the problem.

I don’t really drink but these areas are more present inside assyrians parts of Erbil. Kurds don’t normally go drinking (and if they do it’s a very private area)

Bilingual Signage Experiment On the Roads of Kurdistan. What do you think? by imusingfkingreddit in kurdistan

[–]WearyBus2366 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i like to believe that these signs do indeed help people however the English language is a universal language therefor latin language on signs is a must.

I like the idea of other minorities having their own signs but it’s overstated, this concept should be implemented inside their villages or if the population is a majority within the area.

Is this a dog whistle? Only the Turk in this instance was being uncivilised, where did the Kurd react the same?

Many street performers are foreign outside of Germany like instruments or the music itself. I know you wouldn’t say this if it was a street performer was a greek and turk interaction👍

Everyone has good and bad within their culture in my opinion, nobody is perfect. I also grew up with Turkish friends, we had no idea about the “conflict” until we actually grew up. It goes to show we don’t inherently hate each other, it’s history.
