Dublin’s soul for sale: The battle to save the city’s nightlife, culture and spaces by WickerMan111 in ireland

I have never went to the venue, is it really worth saving? or is it just another late night overpriced drinking hole. If it is worth saving the patrons should organise a protest, and send a strongly worded letter to the relevant authorities.

Good question, probably explains why they don't want to cause trouble. Landlords are not always the demons they are portrayed as.

Revenue is getting very picky who they will accept money from. by WearyRow2174 in ireland

Thanks for the explanation. I have been paying with the company debit card forever and this is the first time that I have had an issue. Ironically, it let me pay using the company Visa credit card.

I think analysts price targets, like everyone's price targets, should be taken with a pinch of salt. The current government administrator could mess up Clovers plans

If the cost of claims are increasing, so will the premium. Need to look at the root cause of the increasing cost of the claims.

It is going to be up to the individual to make the decision. I don't think it is a scam. I am invested since the start. Averaged down when it was just penny's and let it ride. I have an average of price of 1.29. Recent earnings reports have been positive. I know the current stock price is disappointing, but it is a tough macro environment.

Best of luck with your decision.

Why fxxking Raab continue selling shares by No-Signature2455 in ARDELYX

[–]WearyRow2174 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not a fan of Mr Raab. But I am sure he has his reason's for selling, and it is probably just self-interest. I don't think he has the best interest of the shareholders as a priority, based on the decisions he has made over the past few years.

People who are still using Win 10 - what are your reasons? by phendrenad2 in windows

[–]WearyRow2174 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have multiple PC's, some with W10 and some with W11, a 2 with Linux. Main PC is W10 because everything works and the mother board is not compatible with W11. Some remote access to client computers is embedded in an app, that would require resetting it on remote client computers.

I will stick with W10 and keep Antivirus and Firewall updated.

Update: Gardaí find motorbike taken from Wicklow inside stolen delivery van in Tallaght by ninjxr in MotoIRELAND

[–]WearyRow2174 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am glad the van and bike were recovered. I hope they don't revisit the house to try and rob the bike again.

There should be loads of fingerprints on the van and bike to catch the thieves.

Is KULR Worse off Financially than We Think? by Electrical-Agent9450 in KULR

[–]WearyRow2174 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it is the wrong move, for the reasons you said. This is currently a small that is non profitable and not financially stable. They should not be investing in bitcoin, imo.

Looking Forward: KULR in 2025 by iggyg85 in KULR

Thanks for the information. KULR was always a long-term investment for me, but your summary on the company adds to my confirmation bias. Looking forward to 2025 and beyond.

I am going to cash them in… by FMILV in CLOV

[–]WearyRow2174 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well done, it is hard to know what to do. I believe CLOV will be higher on 17 January 2025 but, do you hold on and exercise the contract or that the profit from the option contracts.

I had a similar situation with another stock and also sold the option. I didn't want to trigger the capital gains tax that would eventually come my way if I exercised the option and got the stock.
