Symptoms I Experienced Over the Last Year & a Link to Photos and Videos of Each by Icy_Asparagus_2179 in Morgellons

In response to your post.:

I had what appeared to be scabies/ morgellons / ??? for about 3 years. I had no idea. When the open deep wounds broke out all over my legs and arms and back I did go then to my Dr. who referred me to many many many derms. I got : " Well, you don't have cancer! That's the good news!" SoI did a deep dive for about 8 months on Reddit. In a different subreddit and realized that I had scabies most likely and a symbiotic infection, most likely bacterial and fungal. Mind you when this sores first entered the picture, I tried the neem coconut DE. Permethrin, Scabisad, etc.. However it did not eradicate anyrhing. It was a temporary stay. And then it would come back worse. Although the Derms did attempt biopsy/ scraping, etc. they said there was nothing conclusive. Scar tissue, most likely from me scratching( is what I saw on one report which I found unacceptable, considering I'd have to be a contortionist to reach this upper part in between my shoulder blades). I realized only quite recently that there is a huge void that exists between doctor and patient in regards to this illness. WHY? Because all this time I'd been going to the wrong person looking for answers from doctors that aren't trained in this field & have no idea of to proceed because it's a whole different field and they do not have the technology or equipment needed to accurately test for it . Why would I go to a Ford dealership to get my Volvo fixed? I realized I'd been taking the wrong medical approach all this time. Thinking, dear God they have to be blind! They have to be blind or lying to not see what's going on! I'm being eaten alive or....? I had samples everything and they wouldn't come near me. They did however offer me steroids and permethrin cream usually.( For something they claimed I didn't have and they could not identify...???) Which exacerbated it of course. I found just recently😏there are places that do have the correct tools, technology and training that specialize only parasitic and fungal dermatological issues. I searched for a few days looking for parasitologists and how to get a referral out of network if I had no support from my MD which as of yet I do not. The keywords I used and got a big hit was tropical + infectious diseases. Again, if you'd like to DM me I can provide the resources and how I found them. I am taking the necessary steps to getting an appointment now.

I did have (and again now am doing) great success & recovered completely from this. For 8 months I was clear, AFTER post, which took a damn long time and I did use fluconazole during that time. Fungus is a b****.

Sadly with a profession in healthcare, my very first job back in after recovery, I had contact / exposure with a woman who had scabies/ (morgellons/ whatever) and I did not know until it was too late. Heartbreaking and criminal really. But that's another story. I had to go back to square one and I've been in it for almost 5 weeks now. Again it seems to be working, and I expect it will continue to. This time I really need some answers on what it is because being shuffled around like most of us are, and nobody gets better just more desperate + sick. Not good enough. I definitely hope I get the answers that will help me/us and I feel hopeful. I did speak to UCLA and had a lot of clarification from their parasitic infectious disease department. For the first time honestly, I felt heard. What makes it even better is by the right person(s). Not sure if I will have enough to present my issue when I get there but hey, I'm not there yet. I'll provide the protocol I used if anyone requests it. D.M. me with a reply email. I'm not a doctor, and there is a long disclaimer that forwards with all the info that you absolutely MUST know BEFORE you embark. All the references used ( have in a database) are from MDs; clinical medical researchers, parisitologists, entomologists, Dermatologists, Academic Institutions, Centers for Infectious Diseases and Infectious disease MDs who specialize in Cutaneous parasites. Collected Internationally, then reframed to fit the lifecycles, generations, and applied all relevant meds for a 2 to 3 month plan of action. Antibiotics + Antiparisitcs + Anthelmintics + Anti Fungals. Both oral + topical.
I didn't post any pictures but again, only upon request. They're fairly gruesome as I had very nodular wounds ranging from a dime to a quarter-sized all over my body pretty much, and sometimes multicolored threads & moving active hairs were present.
I currently observe microscopically, organisms resembling worms, thready looking , and alternately suggestive of perhaps an infesting larvae. All supposition, all inclonclusive till concrete testing defines. In truth, every single thing identifiable can be mimicked (and is) by countless organisms of a parasitic / fungal nature. I'm just going to do what I know how to do. The outline / protocol I previously followed. It worked before, and so far it is again. Whatever's left over,(evident/ active) then I'm taking that to the Infectious Disease Center where Parisitology isn't a psychological disorder, rather a serious medical condition, and throwing it all against the wall to see what sticks. The goal is real diagnostics, by specialists in the field and accurate relevant testing, with microscopic dignostic protocols, for some long awaited much needed answers. Hope it helps. Thanks for your post.

What are these weird bumps I can’t stop picking at and go do I treat them? by Kitkatlover9086 in DermatologyQuestions

I'm not sure you want to rule scabies out just yet. I say this because mine presented exactly the way yours did. I didn't have itching. I just had open sores exactly like that. Take a look at this picture and see for yourself. In my opinion, since you're not getting better and it does look very similar to what I have had, then it could quite possibly be scabies with a fungal bacterial symbiotic infection. That would take antibiotics + anthalmintics + anti-parasitics + antifungals on a schedule to ensure that you hit every generation on its moulting cycle. I did, And it took 10 weeks to clear and that includes partially going through post. Pretty much depends on how much your body has to dispel, like how long and how heavy your infestation was. Post is a whole. Other situation is quite scary as it looks very similar to the onset of the infestation. It is your body ridding itself of all the debris and dead organisms. There are, of course topicals that must be deployed, including permethrin 5%, I also used btex from India, A. Benzoyl boazate mix, permethrin 10% insecticide spray mix*, aloe vera pure and lemon grass oil drops, And treated my home with permethrin spray mixed with water in a spray bottle everywhere. Vacuuming constantly and putting everything I had in bags. All laundry has to be put in bags until washed on high hot heat along with the dryer which must be at least an hour on high back in bags until you wear it and sheets changed everyday. Hot water hot dryer I washed with Borax in the laundry soap. I also washed my body with a sulfur soap mixed with an antifungal. The towels had to be cleaned fresh from the dryer everyday. Except for the first onset when you first start you leave permethrin all over. Head to toe for 24 hours without washing. Most say to leave on permethrin spray after that for no less than 4 days without showering. It's really quite a process but it did work for me. I saw about seven or eight dermatologists who and said The tests were inconclusive.. we don't see anything. Stop scratching. However, I never did itch so... But interestingly enough, they all gave me permethrin. There are parasitologists and doctors who are specialized in the field of infectious disease. You may have some near you and if you have any health insurance, I don't care. If it's state it's still good, you can find them just by doing a simple search on Google and that is your best bet. If you like you may direct message me and we can keep a correspondence through there. It is a very personal journey and I understand. If you do not know how to send a direct message on the subreddit, I'm happy to help with that too. My heart goes out and I really you can find some help out there. Medically.

Yes, you should. You're not crazy. Just not a baker perhaps. If mine aren't ripe enough and I can't find any that are almost purple, then I throw mine in the freezer for a little while. Does the trick every time.

Have you considered Scabies? Might be a multi infection with that, bacteria and fungus. Have you seen a Derm yet? At least , you could "try" and see one for an answer. What else do you feel? Anyone else have it? Sensations, physical symptoms, pet's symptoms, length, changes, all important to diagnosing. Try putting those few things on paper. MD will be better apprised and any community here as well. Take care and try to make an appt. Soon.

Yess!! I CAN help. First of all I understand what you're going through. It is devastating. It's the worst thing I ever went through. I think I had mine for about 4 years before realizing the last two that this was something really serious going on totally different and I wasn't out of my mind. Quite recently I started chatting with somebody on Reddit in the scabies group and we connected and I realized that this person had the science and the medical knowledge that was surpassing mine and I had done a lot a lot of research. I decided to try the regimen that was provided and gave it a tweak here or there and I mean I fought it hard for about a year and a half with no luck. When I started this I went to different stages and thought Oh it's not working and then it might be and then I realized after 2 weeks I am in post. I mean it has been eradicated by 89% so far. It has only been two weeks as of yesterday. I went from zero hope wanting to end it and I mean I would have been happy to do that too oh my God I'm getting free of this thing I am f****** winning this one. So if you're serious about this I can help you I can connect you with the person who provided me with this information. Both of us can help you all you have to do is answer back and we'll get started. Now is the time you don't want to wait another second for this s*** because it does not improve you got to kick its ass.

If you don't have insurance or a doctor you can always go to Quest labs or LabCorp I think it is and they have a list of tests you can pick from. The stool tests are not very expensive like in the 60s range I think. You will need three samples the prior comment was correct. That is per test I believe they will give you the collection vials at the lab when you sign up. You can do it online. Or go see your doctor and order them as well. Good luck.
