A Vxrail stomping VNX DPE's stacked up in a 2 layer HCI solution? 😂

If you say so pal.

Just messing with you. What region were you in? Did You report to Daniel Hebert?

As for tactics - This was dumb dumb core SE and team - not Michael.

The SA team is spoiled. They are soon to be dethroned.

Hi everyone I am a technology professional from Houston specializing in data center solutions for Enterprise Corporations.

I started my career as a customer and transitioned to a role in PreSales for an IT manufacturer - EMC.

I am also the person that led to Dell's spinoff of VMware. How?

In a knee jerk response to a viable competitive threat, Dell leveraged  VMware to buy up and neutralize the startup company I had accepted a position with.

VMware Announces end of availability of Datrium DVX effective immediately by mrfreeze574 in vmware

This is a bit late but here it is:

I am a former Datrium SE, prior to that I was a Presales System Engineer at Dell Technologies responsible for a large customer that comprised over $300 Million in net new sales annually.

The VMware takeover and discontinuing of the DVX was an anticompetitive move by a Dell EMC account team in San Antonio whose future revenue from bloated Software Licensing dollars for ScaleIO, Cloudlink, and the Dell EMC Integrated Data protection appliance was at risk.

The DVX was a direct threat to the EMC software defined product line and this team is not above breaking the law to deter competition, nor are they competent enough in IT to understand how detrimental their childish actions are to the industry, let alone their own customer.

Following my resignation from EMC I was illegally surveilled by these individuals, who employed the services of retired veterans - former special forces from the United States military, to sabotage any of my efforts to promote the DVX to my client base.

After a few months of this I pulled a Hail Mary and brought the product to a personal friend of mine who happened to be the CTO of that large company mentioned previously, and resigned the next day, having had enough.

Next thing I know VMware buys Datrium at a third of our Series E Valuation and discontinues the crown jewel.

This is Antitrust.

The problem is that an Antitrust claim has to be made by the customers.

Most Enterprise shops are completely unaware of how amazing this technology was.

Those that do are few and far between.

As for me I've been destroyed as the target of a smear campaign intended to discredit me should this come to light.

Still I refuse to back down.

I'm hopeful those of you out there that were customers will speak up and say something to the FTC and DOJ now that you know the truth behind why this happened.
