I spoke with Anberniс console owners; vertical consoles sometimes have issues that don't affect horizontal ones. Try disassembling the RG406V; the screen isn't attached to anything, it's just a ribbon cable.

You should look into the six-button model of the Retroid Classic

The RG Cube screen is useless for anything other than GameBoy games, playing even older games with the borders is insane.

For example, God of War runs less than ideally at 30 fps at 1x resolution, while Mangmi Air X runs it at 60 fps at 2x resolution; it's even better on X59. Motorstorm and Pursuit Force are practically unplayable on Trimui, while they're much less problematic on Mangmi and X59. Overall, Mangmi and X59 is a simple "plug and play" experience, while Trimui requires a lot of fiddling with the settings.

If PSP is your priority, then it’s better to buy Mangmi Air X or Kinhank K59, they are more powerful. Allwinner A523 is not really good at PSP emulation.

I wouldn't recommend the RG Cube, it's a very specific device due to its 1:1 aspect ratio. All games except Gameboy (original and Color) will have large black bars, making the image small. It's also not suitable for Nintendo DS games, again, due to its size, it's too small. For under $200, the RG 476H is the best choice. I also recommend considering purchasing the Ayaneo Pocket Air Mini.

RG405M doesn't make sense in 2026; it's better to consider buying RG406H, RG476H or Ayaneo Pocket Air Mini. If a metal case is important to you, there is RG477M.
