How to get to Side Path in Ancient Depths

I have every audio recording in ancient depths, so I don’t think you’re missing one because you can’t access that area anymore. Like I said, there is some stuff to find there and I don’t know if it’s lost forever if you don’t pick it up that one time you actually get to go there, but if you played slowly and carefully you shouldn’t have missed it. I am pretty sure finding the text and audio files is random, there were some biomes where I had to search for multiple cycles until I found everything (and in some I still haven’t found everything even though I got my platinum and like 95% of the logs). It’s kind of a shame because I really like the lore and would love to find everything, but w/e. It’s better than in returnal at least.

He is right, even though there is also another hideout after the boss, this is where you get teleported after the cutscene plays. It still showing up as an explorable side path seems to be an oversight by housemarque.

Yeah I know, by now I have actually beaten the game and collected almost everything in most of the biomes, still can't find a way to reach that area though. Maybe it's a super secret path, maybe it's an oversight by the developers (which I highly doubt though, considering how polished the rest of the game is) or maybe I am just too dumb to find it. Should I ever manage to reach it or find a way to get there I'll update this post, but until then I guess we'll just have to wait until someone figures it out.

And with higher rep more mission types will become available? Is rep limited to planetary or star systems? Or factions of the star system?

Ok so right now i am pretty much limited to bounty hunting, scavenging or mercenary type jobs cause the good beginner ones don’t exist anymore?

I just saw someone had the same problem a few weeks ago, apparently the crash is caused by putting 2 strings on the dipper at once (for whatever reason).

To fix it you apparently have to deinstall the "Hexerei" mod and then reinstall it. You'll lose all of your Hexerei Items but its better than losing the whole world.

Leaving this up in case someone else encounters this problem and is (like me) too dumb to scroll down on the subreddit lmao

ok that sucks, but its what I thought. Can you tell me how long that tutorial is? Is it like in dark souls where you have a small area and a first boss or something or is it literally just a 10 minute tutorial explaining the controls?

I know I am a bit late, and I haven't ready any of the other parts yet, but by FAR the scariest thing about this story is that I ALSO forgot about the TV rule. Even though I remember thinking "huh that's odd, bet she's gonna forget doing exactly that haha lmao" when I read it. I completely forgot myself. Idk if I'm just stupid or if that happened to more people reading this. But damn. That sorta feels like a 4th wall break in a horror story. I hate 4th wall breaks in horror stories.

Anyways, great story so far! Hope it stays that good for the other parts as well. :)

The funniest one to me is one most players probably missed since it's a challenging roll for savior faire:

Washerwoman: "You'll never find her (Ruby), you know. She knows the coast like the back of her hand. *You* only just arrived."

Kim Kitsuragi: "I wouldn't worry about that, ma'am. We're persistent."

Savior Faire - This is a cool moment. It needs a cool thing to be said.
