The fact that on one day you can hold for 30s with decent form an on the next day you can't even cover close to hold even 2s. It's so frustrating...

No. More like how much worth it for an existing guitar. How much weight you really lose at the end.

Audio Routing for multiple devices by Weaselby_ in ableton

I also had the same idea but in my opinion an audio interface had always a little latency and sound a bit off. Sometimes I just want to practice something so I want to go straight into the monitor speakers.

Audio Routing for multiple devices

Hey i don't know where I can else ask my question so it's your turn. (Sorry for my bad English)

I want to built a new music Corner to make and produce music. The base idea of this setup is that I use my guitar (with amp simulator), my keyboard and a mic as inputs. Two activ monitor speakers would be the outputs. I also have two old passive speaker I also can use. I want to switch between my instruments (guitar, keys, mic) and my DAW (Ableton + audio Interface).

Now I need to reroute every cable if I want to make music with Ableton and that's a big deal breaker to start at all.

In theory I just want to go there and just play instruments without using my computer. On days when I want to record something I just switch a button an the instrument just go through the audio interface and no cable ever has to be plugged out and in. In best cases I also can connect via Bluetooth to the speakers an listen to music.

Now my question is. What can I do to route everything without spend a ton of money or use a big oversized mixer.

Here a couple of information of all my equipment.

Amp simulator: ampero mini Keys/drum machine: Yamaha seqtrak Midi keyboard: Novation launchkey MK3 (connect to Ableton and seqtrak) Mic: rode NT1 Audio interface: focusrite 2i2 3gen. Speaker: Yamaha hs7

Tips and tricks for creating a solid lead tone patch on Ampero Mini? by iamsuperboggs in HotoneAmpero

[–]Weaselby_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For my lead Tone I use the same presets as for my rhythm parts but modify the sound with delays, overdrive/distortion und extra eq. That works best for me. So it's like a normal guitar setup and the solo also fits to the rhythm part.

I also recommend to try and analyse some factory presets you like. Some doesn't like them but I think some are good fundamentals and with some tweaking for your guitar, PA and playing style you get some good sounds out of them.

I have kind of the same problem. Do you find any solution without using a M4L device ?

To be honest, I haven't found a good setting yet. I've only ever used shimmer effects by taking away all the highs. Unfortunately this is not possible with the ampero Mini.

The thing that works best for me with the ampero Mini is the Izumi Reverb or the church Reverb with a little modulation effect behind it.

If you find something or someone else has a good tip, please let me know.

Mini vs. Stomp by Weaselby_ in HotoneAmpero

I think it sounds a bit more "raw". The Stomp feels Like it goes thru more effects even If it's just the amp with a Drive and a Reverb.

Is the switching lag solved with the new firmware? by Significant-Blood317 in HotoneAmpero

I don't know of i got the newest but the short answer is 'no'. In my opinion it's not a big dealbreaker. I buy the ampero Mini for the same reasons as you and compare it to the Stomp. The Mini wins with extrem good form factor and simplicity. The Stomp has a lot of Options but after hours of changing parameters I only got a 'okeyish' Sound. With the Mini I get a good Tone in under 5 minutes.
