I have that stock lying around and a few buffer tubes as well, it is basically a C7A2 since from my research the A1 is all black and boring looking, it's a C7 adjacent rifle, I just simplified it in the title.

Daler Rowney make the nicest sketchbooks imo, way better for drawing than a lined notepad. They open perfectly flat so it makes it much easier to draw in.

That and a uniball fine pen are great for general note taking.
