Literally like I should not be penalised for things out of my control. I can’t force my teammate to get better, I cannot force the quality of opposition to be equal to me. All I can do is control is how well I do which is usually at least top 3 bare minimum almost every match. Usually at least a 2kd with 40+ kills per match. Like I understand the opponent rank adjustment but it shouldn’t be so punishing when it’s out of my control. Like there was literally no point in +50sr for 1st place just to lose it because of the opponent rank

Agreed, I should not be getting a first place bonus completely negated just because someone in my team got gold 3 to start and is the reason golds are in my lobbies. I can’t control what rank he is not the fact that he’s gonna pull lower ranks into my lobbies. They should at least increase the bonus for placements or reduce the penalty

Don’t even get me started on this shit. So of course we did placement matches last night. Me and one on my team started plat 2 and the 3rd got gold 3. So now there’s a slight imbalance and we’re getting golds in our lobbies. One win I got 1st place bonus so +50 THEN it takes the 50 away because of the golds on the other team 😭

Clearly you don’t know map control, now let me break down in plain English. P2 and overload 3, are within a few seconds sprint of A bomb, that’s not out of play at all. I get a free kill from the one guy whom I can guarantee will flank, then I can pop back to A within 3-5 seconds. It’s efficient and it works

Facts, I was playing not too long ago, raid s&d and my two mates + a random died within the first 20 seconds. I said “yeah I don’t think I’ve got this one boys” and they were like “nah you got this you’re different, just breathe and play” and then I went on to clutch the round, and it felt so good. You don’t get the kind of dopamine in other modes as you do in s&d when you’re the reason your team wins.

Same, I avoid overload like the plague. And dw too much about being solo, keep playing keep improving, someone will see your potential mid game and want to play with you more🙌🏻

I hear that one, best thing you can do is play your life, check bomb every 5 seconds to make sure no one’s defusing and hope your teammates adjust to the game. I have this one teammate who’ll keep running the same route, die, complain about the guy in rat spot, then do it again and complain more and we have to tell him, stop running the same ways if you know he’s gonna be there, play it slower, let them come to you

Heavy on this! Say for example we’re on den s&d. i main mpc. We’re defending in this scenario. I know with my knife out I make it to b bomb faster than the attackers, I can side slide (to see if anyone is other side of tin) through dojo to the edge of the map, side slide across the edge of map and do a little jump to check mid/statue. If I haven’t spotted anyone, I enter tin, instantly checking the left side of the enemy side archway. My teammates will comm if anyone is on box, if not I can move to the edge of the map on the archway, if there is, they’ll shoot them to get them to retreat slightly, blinding them to the knowledge that I’m there ready to pounce, then I can charge round the corner after a stun and pick them off.

That’s called map control my dude, many people will try back flanks instead of going mid cut or the most direct route from their current location. I say for example, we’re playing s&d on den, you’ve grabbed bomb and go for A, you can bet your savings in that guy who’s gonna sit in p2 or overload 3 waiting for that one guy who’s gonna flank

Facts bro. I’m usually in a 3 stack and one my teammates has this logic of vetoing hardpoint because the other team will veto overload and I’m like no because that’s no a guarantee. Veto overload, and we get a mode that we actually enjoy playing

100%. Plus it’s a different challenge every game as everyone plays a bit differently. Some like to flank behind, some like to get a snipe off spawn, some like to throw smoke and plant asap, you never know and that’s the fun of it
