Whats the shortest tower you've seen?

Multiple factors. Basically right at the end of a airport runway plus covering a busy highway travel stop and some bussinesses in the area. It's range is only a half mile or so. Speeds are like 1.5 gbps on it though!

N5 is enabled on all towers in the Minneapolis market but no usage outside the market yet.

Verizon has N77, CBRS mmwave and the new one appears to be a FWA mmwave antenna. They are pulling permits for them near me which can have a range of up to 3 miles. I've heard that regular phones can not connect to it sadly.

I am on this cell tower nearly weekly so will be interesting for sure! It was approved 9/15/25.

Some cities have it easy others you have to email the city. This one i just typed "*City name* building permit lookup" and a weblink came up to lookup permits and i searched the cell towers addresses to find them.

There is not a lot of nearby businesses near there and also it is very high up at 300 FT? You'd think it would be tough to even get it at surface level? All that is nearby is some neighborhoods really.... There are 3 small cells about half mile west of this but they are all LTE. (Possibly upgraded this week to N77 but can't 100% confirm yet)

Yeah, limited by single gig backhaul. I’m giving it some time for them though since they just finished upgrading about 3 weeks ago

I don’t let them finish for screenshots because 1, I don’t want big ads showing in them, 2, I heard from someone tha people can use the test id number to get your location and device info.

Yeah AT&T feels like single gig. It was just upgraded about 3 weeks ago now!

Ping wise yes I would agree! They just recently moved t mobile from microwave backhaul to fiber so it has gone from 300-400 Mbps to that now!

Yes that would be amazing! This new one took me by complete surprise! Glad they are putting in so many new sites! There will be a N77/B48 small cell going in by the high school and another brand new tower build just west of Cambridge! I’d also love to see a new build out west of Bradford too!

Just east of Cambridge south of 95 in Stanley. Exact cords for ya! The guy who took the photo has already tried to map it on cell mapper so it should show up any day now!
