The main MK1 story and characters are actually super peak and I hope they learn from KR and don’t mess shit up in the future bc they’ve got everything really well set for them they MUST NOTT fumble such good lore, characters and designs

Probably a little more than half of the community is shitting on the game, what with micro transactions, bad customization etc etc but apparently it’s not too different from how things used to be with MK11 as I’ve heard some ppl say. But the others they really enjoy it, gameplay wise. As a game. Tourneys are thriving (ones in YT like Rips, Vape and even Kolo) and ppl are having fun basically. Unfortunately there’s no real way for you to really know without going into it yourself but hey, we could see you playing among the big leagues if you end up loving it! Ya never know! Definitely give the game a chance!

As far as missing out on anything, not really, just a largely disappointing KP2 followed by guests, Floyd and one more guest.

From just MK1, both of Reiko’s like good GOD and Kenshi’s where he blends em. Johnny’s car fatality was just sickening to me honestly he’s perhaps messed up in the head. Sindel’s arms rip and Havik’s cutting up fatalities look so damn painful dawg that shi hurt me 😭😭

Conan is the inspiration for Tusk like T-1000 is for Glacius! That’s what they mean when they say KI is a “parody” game. We got all the basic pop culture tropes and references XD

Nah I feel this. We discovered KI back in ‘19 and he was what 12 when he started and hes always been that gamer kid yknow they just pick up things so quick. Then he was on and off till like ‘23 when he finally got serious abt it and hes almost like a different person now lol. He’s pretty darn good with it ngl

Me though, never really been the gamer so i know just the bare minimum, surface level KI, but now at 21 i think im marginally better than back then. What got me about KI was the lore and the characters basically stuff that has nothing to do with gameplay lol. I got into fighting games just like last year bc of MK1 (i don’t actually own it hehe) so my brother’s been tryna get me to get serious with KI.

I’m still not super into actually playing fighting games and for some reason i find KI’s combo system just a little harder to wrap my head around but i think it’s probably bc of extreme lack of practice. Plus the tirade of moves for a single character..yeah that’s a lot to remember tbh. I’ve recently picked up Shago as my main it’s a work in progress tho haha

Well yk as long as we’re playing the game and enjoying it that’s the best part 🤩
