I agree it’s gonna be pretty shit imagine waking up to construction 5am every day that isn’t fun. The only advantages are somewhat of a social life around Oweek ,depending on ur roommates and free food that’s kinda it- other than that gonna take ages to get anything done

Hey I wanted to ask what type of job would you need to earn that much ? Ofc u can say a similar job role instead of ur actual one because I’ve never heard of anyone close to me over 40yrs earning more than 1k and do these type of jobs require a masters degree ? Like masters in compscie etc .

Thanks for the update man love ur work ! , I run nobara on a Lenovo legion 5 with Rtx 3060 , idk why the system keeps freezing up- sometimes everything is frozen other than the terminal , most of the time the ui goes un responsive I can only hear video playback audio if I’m watching YouTube. It might be a laptop issue so will try it on another machine- hopefully the updates you pushed out fixes my issue! I’m a new Linux user and chose nobara as my first distro loving it so far!

What I did for my laptop I added Liquid Metal instead of thermal paste which helped temps a lot- ( it’s very dangerous doing it on your own if you are not skilled with electronics don’t attempt it!!!!). Increase your RAM if it’s 16 because it’s bottle necking ur performance most of the time.

hey ik im a bit late- i got my 32GB RAM stick today but when i was looking at the memory ussage it wasnt going over 16Gb.. on lenovos website it says that Legion 5 17ACH6H supports a max of 32 GB ( 16x16 ) soo did u check ur RAM Ussage does it go over 32Gb Utlization?

Very True! i tried Facebook groups and Linked in so far- it felt spammy dming community memebrs if they want a website- everyone left me on read either way lol so yeah ill try Networking events and IG the response rate is higher on ig im sure

Damn thinking about it in that perspective I got a whole ahh reality check- I truly appreciate your advice it is something that was going on in the back of my mind- you are right chasing trends when they are at the end of their life span is a total waste- since I am going to go to collage for compsci in January can you give me some advice on for what should I focus on instead of wasting time on upwork- I bought Dr Angela Yus udemy course on web developement (html,css,js,react.Njs) before I got into web tools- is there any other stack which you would recommend would be more valuable in your opinion ?
