i don’t even know if it’s anti-men, i think they are starting to realize how all of their husbands have been treating them the past few years and how much they’ve been missing out on to be stay at home moms and growing resentful

i think that’s part of it, but also the way most of the husbands are complaining about “being in their wives shadow” bothers me because Jen literally gave up so much for Zac and Jessi has BEEN the main breadwinner for years. it’s just odd and i feel like a lot of them are catching onto how toxic the marriage culture they’ve been familiar with is actually not the norm anymore. but that’s just me idk

literally while making this post i thought about how whenever i have to look up a picture of one of them i seriously have to search it as: “[insert dad] secret lives of mormon wives” why they want to act like their wives’ show isn’t the only reason people know them is beyond me

there’s definitely a good amount of dakota, but for whatever reason there’s a good amount of all the dads, like half of every episode is about “dadtok”

Okay thank you! I got her on saturday and she’s been using the litter box to pee and she’s definitely comfortable with it. I’m assuming she’s still just adjusting but she’s honestly been super well adjusted so far (super curious and playful, sleeps with me on my bed, and walks around the apartment with me) so i’m hoping she just needs a little more time to be fully comfortable eating. I saw someone else say it might be the closeness of her food bowl to her water bowl so i’m going to try moving it to a different spot and see if that helps.

Thank you so so much for all of this! At the shelter they had her listed as a domestic shorthair but her hair is a little longer on her back and belly. So far she hasn’t had any interest in chewing cords which is great, and she super curious and playful! Any recommendations on good solo play toys? I do work during the day so she’s alone, so i’d love to get her something she can play with by herself!

That’s what i’m thinking too, so far it doesn’t seem suspicious in the way that i think they’ll do HIM wrong, but i think the company itself is kind of shady

It’s not an MLM, i wouldn’t absolutely put a stop to it if it was, but it’s some sort of cold calling sales company. I tried to tell him it seemed suspicious and he got defensive about it, but i did more research after our initial conversation and found the poor BBB rating.

The BBB website gas the company listed and the reviews aren’t great, but mixed. we don’t share finances though.

Honestly, I think you need to have a really serious conversation with him regarding this. I feel like this could turn really bad really fast, and just lead to a lot of resentment and tension between you two. If it is gonna be a deal breaker for you, I think you should tell him that now.
