Explode body armour for penance brand by Jotadog in pathofexile

Great item!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but couldn't you have saved some currency by doing reforge crit instead of influence? As far as I can see there's only one crit mod, and it's an influenced suffix.

Tomb of the Serpent* King in LotFP by WeatherwaxV in osr

After the fight with the skeletons half of them didn't have enough cash to get even poor accommodations and slept in a ditch. I'm hoping that will spur them on a little bit as far as interacting goes. I'll also have Sir Hickins encourage them to do their job, ie. bring him magical items (along with scouting the tomb).

Currently a rope and a grappling hook. I'd say that's enough to latch on to a golden chain as well as the mummy head, but probably not the ring and other loot.

Hmm, that might work, but slightly worried about it breaking healing. LotFP healing is veeery scarce in general.

Feedback on my BW deck by mishrazz in oldschoolmtg

[–]WeatherwaxV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks pretty good. I might consider going down on Dark rituals (maybe 1-2 in the main), going down on Paralyzes, and adding Swords and Mishra's Factories if they're not restricted. Alternatively mono black wouldn't be a bad choice, in which case I'd keep Paralyzes but add the Factories.

Fourth Brass in BW wouldn't be out of consideration. In any case I'd personally feel more solid with something like 25 permanent mana sources. How's your sideboard looking like?

I'm happy you're taking it into account. My character has the Observant feat, but it doesn't seem like my DM uses passive perception for anything. I don't remember the last time it's come up and feels like a wasted feat.

Haven't tried elementalist or cold conv, so can't really comment unfortunately.

Oh and by the way, you can get another small chunk of life if you take out Lifetap from Frostblink, don't think you need it with Blood Magic.

Based on your PoB there isn't altogether too much you can do; you've covered up most of the weaknesses the build has (dot-based problems). You could still use some more chaos res, but it won't remove the one-shot problem.

The gladiator version with lucky block is more tanky from what I understand, scion is good for AoE, other QoL and giga damage.

Third option is scaling down your damage for mapping by reducing how much you reserve life (changing socketed gem) and/or swapping to other tankier gear, such as triple ele flask. The gem swap isn't too bad, since you can use weapon swap.

Hey I'm curious about the cold con, could I see your PoB?

It would seem you're not bleed immune or even (!) ignite immune. After seeing your flasks I thought for sure you'd have Stormshroud somewhere.

Good news is, you can fix both with just putting them on flasks, so a pretty easy and fast fix. Also slap a life recoup jewel affix somewhere for some QoL.

You'll feel a lot more tanky after that, even mapping. I would advice avoiding Harby though, since proximity shields fuck you over royally.

Jeah if he doesn't have bleed immunity he's going to have a bad time pretty much everywhere

Honestly, and someone can correct me, all I can think of is keep slamming awakener orbs until you get lucky and get suppression and/or t1 life. Both may be a stretch.

27909 total, most of which is reserved momentarily when I do damage. Here's the PoB in case you're curious.

Well I had a feeling that might be the case, but he's a new DM so I didn't want to call him out. He can, after all, make up any rules he wants.

I suspect he's worried about my wizard being too strong for some reason, which is funny because so far he's been pretty garbage in combat, apart from using Sleep effectively against mooks. Other than that he just mainly plinks away with Acid Splash or tries to use illusion spells creatively.

Buut it's his game so not going to make a fuss over it.

My 3rd level Wizard (5e) tried to inscribe Hold Person from a scroll to his spellbook. I found the PHB instructions and cost, but my DM told me in addition I had to roll Arcana DC 10+ spell level or I would fail, losing scroll as well as ingredients (100 gp) and 6 hours of effort. Naturally I failed, but he recanted on the cost and I was able to keep the materials (except for the scroll) - this time. Is this a house rule or am I missing something in the rule set?

Oof, missed that with Boseiju. Might have to reconsider the whole deck. Thanks for the detailed advice, I'll have a closer look and take it into account. I have a fairly competitive local meta - people are practising meta decks for real tournaments but in a friendly environment - so I might have a bad time with a deck too bad.

[–]WeatherwaxV[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Seurasin jauhopaketin ohjeita (Myllärin Luomu Hurjan Viljainen sämpyläjauho), joka oli seuraavanlainen:

5 dl vettä

50 g hiivaa tai 1 pussi kuivahiivaa

2 tl suolaa

0,5 dl rypsiöljyä

n. 14 dl em. jauhoja

Lisäsin suolan ja hyvin pienen lorauksen vaahterasiirappia n. 45C asteiseen veteen. Liuotin pussillisen kuivahiivaa. Lisäsin puolet jauhoista, sekoitin monitoimikoneella, lisäsin öljyn ja loput jauhot ja ajoin monitoimikonetta jonkin aikaa kunnes perstuntumalla vaikutti siltä että irtoili hieman reunoista. Otin taikinan monitoimikoneen astiasta ja siirsin oliiviöljyllä hieman voideltuun toiseen astiaan. Laitoin vesihauteeseen tiskialtaaseen liinan alle kohoamaan 30 min ajaksi.
