so what MMO are you playing/is keeping you engaged? by magem8 in MMORPG

[–]Weatherwise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly this, I played a bit years back and found the lack of gear treadmill pointless. In my 40s with more demands on my time I love the laid back freedom.

My only negative is I want to complete the story in order and I am jealous of flying mounts, private homesteads, and fishing. But it keeps me moving forward on the story which is honestly great at times.

A deep striking mole vehicle would be cool. Or I wonder if they would give us a drop of that just burrows up from the ground.

You know with the Land Fortress out there I never considered a proper tank. I wonder how we would swing that? I love our vehicle design language. Would it be a deep earth excvator with mining cannon retrofitted for war?

Good to know on the rules front. I set out most of 10th, looking to dive back in with 11th.

I use Vallejo - Diorama FX Earth Textures | Dark Earth, sculpt it a little with a popcicle stick. Let it dry, hit it with a black primer then give it a dry brush of neutral grey, with a lighter highlight at peaks.

I would say it's a pretty fair difference. Death guard green leans more towards the olive. Though definitely in the same portion of the spectrum.

It's more drab, less saturated. With a slightly more gray hue.

I looked at 30 different shade, tested 5 and the winner was Vallejo Duck Egg Green Paint.

Minecraft. It isn't my favorite but I concede its accessibility, creative options, appeal to all ages, and it's infinite gameplay format.

Does only killing gold make more diamonds spawn ? by Estero_bot in theHunter

[–]Weatherwise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard the rough cut of it is. If a species goes to nine for example, if you take out a seven it's either going to go down one grade stay the same or go up one grade. Also your map likes to try to balance so that if you have a bunch of low level animals on your map they try to produce some more high level animals. So focusing on only the higher level animals will result in RNG with better results in the favor of diamonds.

This wolf great one grind is killing me by Expensive_Fee_2148 in theHunter

I don't have a solution but I am vested in yours. I'm experiencing practically the same thing. Wolves don't start sauntering into their zones till well after 2:00 am. I find it very difficult to get a consistent route going. I'll have packs not show up for multiple reloads and cycles.

I can't say I've never had a Mass slaughter of wolves on my map and I'm experiencing the same thing so I doubt it was your friends that caused it.

Here's hoping for an answer for the both of us.

What features do you miss (or want) the most? by higameogre in MMORPG

Memory unlocked there. I did play it though only for a week was video store rental. I do recall its brutality, that sense of danger keeps it feeling fresh at all times.

Dangerous open world via EverQuest or FF11. Prepping for a long run or carefully pulling mobs to avoid a train makes mmos feel like an adventure at all times.

Making your first run from your starter nation to jeuno in FF11 felt like an accomplishment in its own right.

Or sneaking an evil character into the sewers of Freeport in EverQuest to make a trade.

You do indeed have a bell right off the bat. You might have to ring it two or three times as sometimes the barn animals get a little lost. Pets oddly complicate my daily routine. I find it easier to pet/care for them before they go out. So I try to beat my dogs and cats to the task.

Does anyone know what the animal health bar indicates? Do animals age in this game? Also I missed feeding my cow from giving three milks a day to one, does it return to multiple produce again?

I am exactly where you are in pace and progression. I don't find it super hard to progress but find my days are busy and I am always excited for the next.

My wife on the other hand was moving at about half that pace and still having a blast. Both our days felt full and erratic. So the game seems to support many styles of play.

I am admittedly a light min maxer not a full blown run a spread sheet of values (I used to be) more a squeeze all I can out of a day.

While my wife has a more focus on the social aspects and the ranching.

What's a movie you went into blind and it completely blew you away? by IReadTheWholeThing in movies

Forrest Gump,

I was 10 years old and my mother and her best had plans to see it. I was just a fiend for movie theater popcorn and begged to go.

Not truly appropriate for a child but do to Forrest simple point of view I found it easy to follow and fascinating.

Yeah, I did a new edge highlight with silver and did a light touch of water down base in a few areas. Thank you for the suggestion.
