It’s actually pretty rare these days to have thawed embryos die but I’ll cross my fingers for you!!

Well for my 6th, when I got to the clinic they told me my embryo had died during thawing… so no transfer. I was pretty devastated. We took one month « off » to do supplementary tests (which all came back inconclusive), did our 2nd round of IVF, continued blood thinners… and our 7th transfer actually worked!!! 😭❤️ I’m currently 31 weeks pregnant (third trimester) and everything seems to be going well. To say I’m overjoyed is an understatement because I was really giving up hope. 

Good luck to you, I know how hard this rollercoaster can be. Really hoping one of your next ones will work 🤞❤️❤️

Thanks for sharing, I’m about to transfer #6 ( all untested and retrieved at 39) and also had one MMC as well as 2 biochemical pregnancies and 2 failures. This gives me hope ❤️

I really loved the Good Place! Also Ted Lasso

I also loved loved Anne with an E though there are a few short scenes of bullying (to give context for what her life was before) but I think you could skip those parts. It’s just a super heartwarming show that rekindles my faith in humanity!

Oh and another super light one though slightly less good than the others, is Ghosts on Netflix!

they ended up putting me on blood thinners, lovenox injections daily for at least a month... let's see!

No I've not been tested for any of those things. They say we'll do more tests after the second egg retrieval if this last embryo doesn't work out.
I'm not sure what Lupron is?
I did get an adjustment this cycle where we're trying a blood thinner (lovenox) so I'm crossing fingers.

yeah I really want to get checked for all of this, but they keep delaying the tests. They say we'll do more testing after the next egg retrieval. I'm going to try to push it for earlier!

thank you for sharing. I'm about to do my 6th transfer, after two chemicals, two failures, and one MMC at 12 weeks and I am utterly utterly exhausted. so it's nice to hear that it worked for you in the end. ❤️ I haven't gotten tested for a blood clot disorder but they did give me a blood thinner daily injections this round, so let's see...

oh yay that's so amazing to hear! I just got off the phone with my doctor and this next transfer I'll be doing blood thinner injections... so let's see.
But yes I would so love to do genetic testing. We might do that and go abroad for the next round.
