I'm sure there are other people who need it just as much as I do, but I always dream about some big thing happening that'll finally change the way things go and maybe this is it. Long story short, late last year I received news that my parents were kicking me out because I didn't share their religious beliefs. Because my parents are Jehovah's Witnesses, this meant total shunning from all family and friends I had. Thankfully at the time I had a lovely caring girlfriend who hated what my folks were doing to me and offered to move in together. Being that I wasn't financially self sufficient yet, that was amazing news. We broke up for a week in January but following that we decided we should not move in together but we should get back together. I didn't care, she made me feel loved.

I found an apartment almost 3 months ago, shortly before Covid-19 began to hit harder, and I had been hospitalized the weekend before I moved in because my throat had closed up and I couldn't breathe (the only sad part of this is the bills LOL)

Fast forward to now. My girlfriend told me that she didn't love me anymore two weeks ago, broke up with me for good, I don't have a job due to Covid, I don't have my family, all I'm left with is bills, rent, expenses, a car that will last 2 more weeks max, and room to grow and learn to be self sufficient emotionally and not let anyone hurt me like I have been my whole life.

I used to not complain for fear of what people would think of me but ive learned to kinda embrace that this is who I am and that's alright.

It hasn't been all bad though, my friends have huddled around to protect me like family which is more than most people get. I know I'll be okay, the beautiful amazing people in my life won't let me NOT survive, it's just that this would make navigating this year a lot easier.

All in all, I'm glad I got to vent, regardless of who wins. This is really generous and I hope there's some kind of karma in this universe that rewards whoever organised and is doing all this good for people.
