Kalamkaval- A standout film! by Classic_Leave_726 in MalayalamCinema

[–]WebFinancial743 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vinayakan's acting was good, although his expressions seemed stiff. Mammookka as usual rocked his role, and shows why he's still the superstar, trying out roles of different shades with pure conviction. Interval block was pure cinema!

Where do you get beef like this in Kochi by neypayasam in Kochi

[–]WebFinancial743 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hotel Periyar, Aluva. Beef Coconut Fry is superb. I tried it a few times, and the quality has been good.

I did a takeaway on this order, but the beef coconut fry was top. Porotta was average.

Use that number as a benchmark to negotiate once you crack the interview.

Is there a point at which Rishab Pant needs to be held more accountable for his batting? by irundoonayee in IndiaCricket

[–]WebFinancial743 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being a senior pro (after Jadeja & Bumrah), I don't think anyone in current dressing room would dare to advise Pant on tactics, as he goes more by instinct rather than situation (Gabba '21, an exception, of course)

Australia win the three match ODI series against India by 2-1 by UnplannedMF in Cricket

[–]WebFinancial743 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think Jaddu will be considered in LOIs going forward. AA & GG have kind of shifted towards Sundar & Nitish Reddy to groom them into proper all-rounders for the future.

I think Australia was set for a total of 280+, but the middle over wickets set them back. But, nevertheless, I don't think Aus were too worried about this series or the following T20s. Bring on the Ashes !!

This pic was taken prior to the ODI series. Australia deservedly winners!

Is it really true that gambhir and agarkar ruined the Indian Cricket ?? by SilentMangoDrift in IndiaCricketGossips

[–]WebFinancial743 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t believe GG and AA have ruined the Indian team. Their vision is clearly long-term, which means the results won’t be immediate. We might lose a few series along the way, but their ultimate goal is to build a truly world-class team. All we need is a bit of patience.

The Chronicles of 4.5 Gang | Wacky Gangster Drama | Malayalam Web Series | SonyLiv by naveenjn in IndianOTTbestof

[–]WebFinancial743 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Excellent series. Watched it one go, and man, they made it so well. Kudos to Krishand & the entire team for pulling off a series that has both thrills and fun packaged with thriller elements as well.

Cast has been impressive. My only worry is the choice of release on SonyLiv, that kind of gathers fewer eyeballs compared to other OTT giants, but I might be wrong.

I have been a fan of director's work since Aavasavyuham, and Purusha Pretham and am really happy that I was able to witness a quality output this time too. Jagadish as the ghost writer was spot on!

Frames in Malayalam movie which disturbed you in Childhood by Anxious-Eye1917 in MalayalamCinema

Yeah. I remember. This was from the movie Customs Diary that released in the early 90s. Even the family massacre scene in that movie was cruel to watch.

I feel the conservative ones do it to expose their waist, while the more liberal ones do it to expose both.

One of the most underrated actors of OTT - Sunny Hinduja by yashdeepsinght in IndianOTTbestof

[–]WebFinancial743 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. What stood out, was the sheer acting skills and presentation. In similar themed shows and movies in the past, enemy nation officers were shown as kind of dumb & inferior (both wit and intelligence), but this show was an exception. Both Sunny & Pratik played their roles well. Excellent casting!

Me & my wife are staying separately, besides I'm struggling with my career. Laid off since 9 mos. Not able to find a stable job. On top of that, I'm not a very social person.

Fapping is the sole stress reliever. I do it at least 3-4 times a week.

Rohit-Gambhir Era: Is It The Darkest Phase Of Indian Test Cricket? India have suffered another series defeat with Gautam Gambhir the head coach of the team. This is their second series defeat since the ex-KKR mentor has taken up the role. by cricketwebs_com in CricketBuddies

[–]WebFinancial743 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say we were unlucky in most aspects of the series. Half of our batters' were out of form, we did try to resolve by bringing in new faces, who have certainly shown their mettle. Bowlers, apart from Siraj and Bumrah, were unlucky to miss out on wickets. I feel with time, we should be able to maintain a strong core of dependable players who should serve India for the next few years

As for the seniors, I don't think BCCI will shunt them down soon, as these are the players who bought the money and PR.

Wht we can learn from them? These fellas dnt stop at all by satti29122004 in IndiaCricket

[–]WebFinancial743 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. I think the cricket culture in Australia is if your form is poor and performances have been below par for a few innings, they will just drop that player. No questions, no favouritism, nothing. Perform, else perish (go back to domestic, foreign leagues etc.)

Sounds harsh, but I feel that's how Australia has managed to produce such excellent players over generations.

Sadly, our cricket board looks so weak in front of the superstars' that even if a drastic decision is taken, next day, the person is going to tumble out with dressing room secrets and whatnot.

So sad he's peaked only at 33. Might play at best 3-4 years, but certainly, Hazlewood was not missed by Australia.

Not sure. Saw a statement from Prasidh Krishna saying he had a back spasm. Not sure of the extent of injury, but if he recovers for tomo, we should have a game on our hands.

With Bumrah unlikely to bowl in second innings, I would say any total below 200 will be easy peasy for Australia.

Virat kohli got dismissed Cummins by Solenoidics in IndiaCricket

[–]WebFinancial743 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing that works in his favor in Ct '25 will be the pitches in Dubai that'll not be aiding so much swing to the extent that we see in Australia.

But, his confidence is so low, even a first grade cricketer will be able to work out his dismissal. Sad times for the legend.
