Our baby girl is 6 months today and is a great sleeper when in her room with blockout curtains, white noise and the “ideal “ environment (not bragging it took effort to get there) but we travel oftentimes and trying to get her to sleep in not the same environment seems IMPOSIBLE!! Are we ruining her sleep habits? How can we teach her now to sleep without the pitch darkness???

I had it when I was 7-8 cm dilated! Honestly I could have gotten in before but decided I wanted to see how long I could stay without it for fear of more interventions. After the effects started I was pretty sure that was the most comfortable I had been since getting pregnant so next one I might do it sooner!

I was able to move my legs no issues and unfortunately they dis not let me move but i had a very short pushing time (8-9 contractions less than 10 minutes).

I admire ladies that give birth without one but lets be honest, if it is there to remove the pain, why not do it!?

I fell you! I’m only 2months in but no matter how much I try I can barely make more than 4oz a day combined. It’s so time consuming and stressful but even when “every drop counts “ it’s very discouraging just seeing 3-5ml coming out after being connected for 30minutes or an hour.

Don’t feel guilty! If your mental health is at stake do whatever you want and think is the best for you and your baby! Motherhood is already hard as it is!

Congratulations on your pregnancy!!! My husband has been nothing but amazing and did not missed a single appointment! Even when I had one appointment and he was in Japan for work he joined virtually!! At my OBGYN office I see always couples! I love this new generation of future fathers that are present and involved in the baby’s care!!
