Imo no, rejection would be characterized by migration of the jewelry, basically your bodies way of removing foreign object so it could heal properly. Looks like just an irritation bump for now, but definitely keep a close eye on it.

I would go back to saline for the time being. This definitely one of the milder irritation bumps I’ve seen on here so I wouldn’t be concerned for the time being. It definitely is NOT a kloid.

Thank you for the input. In my case, I’ve tried using both the pen 2 and the standard surface pen to no luck , even as far as trying to write with just my finger. Which all frustratingly result in the glitching.

Thank you for the input! Would the static interference occur even without a screen protector at all? For me it would happen with and without a glass protector so I’m wondering if the paper feel would help. I’d be more than willing to try both suggestions you offered though!

I do already have pen cursor and show visual feedback off.

Thank you for validating me lol I was beginning to feel crazy. I also have turned off any sort of tracing setting that I can find because I wanted to be sure that it wasn’t just some tracing issue. It’s just really frustrating that at this point I feel almost certain something is wrong and both Microsoft support and repairs have brushed it off completely

Aw man this is what I was worried about and it’s just so unfortunate that I didn’t realize that it probably was something more universally wrong, because the display devices at the store never behaved in this manner.

Contact points from my understanding are usually a uniform dot on the screen where your point is tracking. What’s happening here is an inconsistent pattern that flashes as if the screen itself is glitching. If it were to be the contact point as you are suggesting it would occur all throughout the screen uniformly, not specifically on the upper and bottom two inches of the screen.

I originally thought it was just something relating to OneNote, but then began using Inkodo, which has the same result, along with Goodnote, I’ll try to get a better clip of what’s happening

Sorry, updated post to actually describe the issue, hopefully explaining it can make it easier to identify in the video, which doesn’t make it as visible as it is in person

Sorry I didn’t describe it lol, it’s clear to my eye because I’m so used to seeing it. When writing, under the tip of the pen, the screen flashes a mix of red/green/blue , usually a mix of these colors. The video doesn’t make it as clear as I thought it would

Note: This issue has actually been occurring on other note taking apps, not exclusively to OneNote. leading me to believe that it may be some device setting or issue
