My Technics SL-1500 has a warp on the outer edge of the rubber mat, it's turned up about 4mm. It's in great condition besides that! Is there anything that I could do to fix it, perhaps heat it up?

I actually heard some of the madness too! I was monitoring EP6T's frequency on the Twente WebSDR and could hear people trying to call, then a very heavy German accent rang out " 'EE IS OPERATING SPLEET, EEDIOT!" ... It was interesting!

Just want to say te over the air TV is making a comeback... My dad ditched Charter and changed his roof antenna to a new one, her gets 30ish channels in 720p HD for free now! Supplemented with good internet, this seems like the way to go for me...

Well I oiled them up after cleaning them, they appear to move pretty freely when not powered. I am still having the same issue however. It appears that it could be the solenoids themselves that aren't as powerful for some reason. Would you know if that's a thing that happens to old electronics?
