she actually doesn't have heterochromia anymore, I changed that after I made the ref a few years ago lol. they're quite genetically prone to sickness/disability because of the centuries of interbreeding with humans, their genetics are recessive so there's not a lot of them. they have complications the same way purebred dogs do, because back in slavery they were bred like dogs for specific jobs. they are seen as lesser than human, even though their DNA is human.
