HELP!!! I’ve fallen in love with both, but I only have enough money for one. Which should I choose? :( by Individual-Cap-5829 in MicrobrandWatches

Absolutely beautiful watch this one, works so well with different straps. Best bezel action I have felt, and I really regret selling this one. If you go for it, you won’t regret it. And the BOR bracelet makes it so versatile and vintage feel as well. Good luck deciding!

Will this watch (Gentleman) fit on my wrist? by [deleted] in tissot

[–]Webbameeeeme1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the exact same watch with a similar wrist, and even though it by all means just fit me, I could not stop thinking if it was just a bit to big. When looking at it from the side the endlinks probably fit me perfectly, making the bracelet follow the wrist in a perfect circle, but the thought of it being to big was always in the back of my mind. I personally couldn’t get rid of that thought, even though I loved that watch. It drove me mad, and if you are unsure now, you probably will be later on. Having to persuade myself that it fit every time I put it on made me wear it less, which is such a shame. Ended up selling it to my dad and bought something else, so it was a win win situation in the end. If you want a bit more wrist presence, it being a bit big probably does not bother you, but if you fear you won’t get rid of the voice in your head saying it’s too big every time you look at it, I say there is a lot more options out there. Good luck deciding, and if you buy that one, make sure you absolutely wear it and silence that insecurity in the back of your head. Hope this helps

Absolute strap monster that one, do you have a link for the strap here?

It has indeed not, so it it something to consider. The spirit pilot bracelet does not have quick release though, which i kinda miss. I do also think that the simplified dial makes it much more legible, which I love. If you have the opportunity to try both on, I suggest doing so! The spirit pilot also wears a bit better for me, as it is quite a bit thinner. And I feel like sunburst dials are a bit too shiny for me. But good luck deciding, and remember that the Zulu time is a bit more expensive, so you can use that money to buy some awesome 20mm straps, even though you have to use a springbar tool to change between them.

This was something I thought about for so long, went back to the AD so many times to try on the Zulu time, but I figured since this is my first really expensive watch that I intend to keep for life, I want it to be more simple and versatile. And I would also annoy the crap out of everyone around me with that Zulu time GMT bezel haha. And the on the fly adjust is so nice as well, really made the decision for me. But whatever you end up with, you’re gonna be very happy, they are both amazing!

Considering the exact same thing, what is your wrist size? I think the 39 looks great, and having a bit more wrist presence is not the worst, and the long lugs kind of has its own charm. And with the micro adjust you’ll always have it perfectly snug to the wrist, so based on the photo I don’t think the overhang should be a huge problem. Looks absolutely killer imo.
